Well, here's the first Gaoler I bought, a fluffy plant-themed therapist who is nothing like the typical stern warden. He's a bit more stereotypical, being a trickster who lives in the deep forest and confuses travelers for his own amusement. I'm,,, never gonna finish gening her.

She uses magic vases and ribbons to keep her flowers fresh, which is pretty useful seeing as she gathers them from all across Sornieth! Don't think too hard about a veilspun - y'know, the dragons that go into a torpor when they're cold - being from the ice flight, though. He's also an artist and inventor, and his life is loosely based on a more peaceful version of my great-grandfather's story, which is wild enough that at this point my dad could probably make up something ridiculous about him and I'd believe it. She's based on a warship, but unlike many of my other ship dragons her lore has only a few connections to her real-life counterpart's history rather than being more heavily based on it like, say, Olympic or Edmund Fitzgerald. (Those connections are her sister and the color red.)

First up, I have my oldest ancient, Keirphalia. This lady was a breeding project reject, but I happened to have her when Gaolers were first released, and I liked her so much she became the first lass I used a scroll on! He's just around for aesthetics really, I love the red on black color scheme he's got going. I found him a mate with matchy colors and recently regened him, I wasn't much a fan of what I originally did. Still haven't found a good skin for this guy, though. I have 2! They are good friends with one another, although they are opposite elements! First: Harq, a pirate banescale! She was raised as an imperial in a well accomodated family in the Ashfall Waste, but in the chaos of fleeing from the unrest in her original clan she got turned into a banescale. Still to this day she is having horrible trouble controlling the scroll's ancient power and rage fits, but she works in channeling them into a productive job. He was born from the singular banescale egg that came into my clan's possession the very first day Banescales were discovered. Being the first time a Wyvern type dragon was seen by my clan, they gave him his current name, meaning "has a lack of-", in his case, arms. Originating from the very first and most exposed batch of eggs rescued from the ancient banescale lair, his core is frozen turning his element into a constant battle between Ice and Fire trying to reclaim over eachother.
