Akaka

creative • perfectionist • passionate
Akagi was born a male, but has always felt more like a female and identifies as such. She came to the Lanternlight Clan to live with her grandparents, Bismarck and Lucania, but she often visits her birth clan in the Plague domain.
She can be quite pushy and demanding, not to mention quite the perfectionist, but despite that she's a friendly young dragon with a passion for painting. Her favorite color to use is red, and when asked about why that particular color appears so often she'll gladly explain that it's simply the color she associates with happiness and love. Many of her paintings depict fairytale scenes or brilliant sunsets, and sometimes both.
Recently, Akagi's dreams have been haunted by a young banescale who claims to be her stillborn sister, Amagi. The hatchling's claims seem to be unfounded, as Akagi doesn't remember hearing about her from any dragon, but she's quite happy to have Amagi around regardless. She keeps meaning to visit her parents and ask about the spectral hatchling, but she hasn't gotten around to it quite yet, so she still doesn't have answers...
We can build a world of a billion shades
We can make a difference and change our place
In the course of time in the cycle of our lives
We can paint the world with eyes open wide
Fandragon of the Japanese aircraft carrier Akagi. Originally, the ship was meant to be an Amagi-class battlecruiser, but Amagi's unfinished hull was irreparably damaged in an earthquake and she was scrapped before she was even launched. Akagi was converted into a carrier, and in this role she would attack Pearl Harbor alongside fellow carriers Kaga, Souryuu, and Hiryuu. All four would later be sunk at Midway.
