1. He's seen his fair share of action, being a Lightning Farm deserter whose exit wasn't exactly...quiet. He's been trying to stay on the down-low for a few years now, so he can relate to just wanting some peace and quiet after a life of excitement and hardship.
2. He can be very gruff and serious, but he's a curious soul at heart with a taste for adventure he would vehemently deny if pressed. I think he'd find Andros's job charming, and though I doubt he's ever had kids of his own, I think he'd warm up to them quickly.
3. Though he puts up the front of a skeptic and a loner, he's a really go-with-the-flow kind of guy. Not much truly fazes him. If anyone tried to attack the clan while the kiddos were around, he wouldn't even hesitate to defend them. He also wouldn't be put off by Andros's quiet nature.
[u]First Date:[/u] Escort mission, perhaps? Sometimes something bad happens and you and all your charges get a bit lost, and a mysterious nomad who knows the area offers to help you get the hatchlings back to safety.

Codex is the royal record keeper of my clan. He's generally a very neat and organized dragon, and he has a great [s]if odd[/s] love of lists lol
He's quite friendly, but also a little on the skittish side. When he finally admits to himself that his eyes need a break from his work, he likes to find a quiet and secluded spot in the gardens of the palace or temple. His work keeps him in the palace most of the time, so he hasn't had much opportunity to meet any females who aren't part of the king's court. When he does get a chance to interact with other ladies, he becomes extremely shy and always feels like he's making a fool of himself. This has also happened a few times when interacting with other males, and he's not quite sure what to make of that, yet.

1. If Codex gets too flustered around courtiers, perhaps a fighter would work out better? Or maybe that would just make things worse lmao. Either way, it would certainly force him to change his approach, which might be good for him since the old one isn't doing him any favors. Someone who oozes confidence might intimidate him at first, but little fazes her, so at least he wouldn't have to worry about royally screwing things up. She'd probably just shrug off his quirks.
2. Ferrous would definitely force him out of his comfort zone. She's used to roughing it in the woods, hunting monsters and the like. She's not really scared of anything, and she's definitely not organized. She'd probably poke fun at him, but not in a mean-spirited way. Truthfully, she knows as a strategist that groups work best when everyone has different things they're good at. Codex is the one who keeps everything organized, and that's useful.
3. I think in the case of goofballs, opposites attract is peak dynamics lol. Who doesn't love a good odd couple that no one quite gets? By all accounts they shouldn't work, but somehow they do.

Scorn is known to be quite the lady's man although he's kind of a horrible dude. He cheats, steals and lies for no good reason, he also has a huge ego which can be quite frustrating at times (especially when he talks about himself for hours on end). He just needs to find someone as equally annoying and bad as him...or maybeee the opposite, hopefully someone who can calm him down a bit.
He's also bisexual but tends to like really buff men more.
