[font=century old style][color=#2A6650][size=5]A small number of Bogdogs found themselves in Plague territory when the Icewarden froze them and most sank deep into the pools of Quarantine Zone #128. When the Icewarden’s spell broke they did not wake immediately. They came to sluggishly finding that though the Icewarden’s spell was broken they were encased in a different, more grotesque magic that was actively mutating them as they struggled to breach the surface of the Quarantine Zone pools. When the Bogdogs emerged, they found that the Plaguebringer’s magic had altered their coloration. Now their thick fur was the color of muck and their wings tinted a dull red. Their fans no longer stretched green and shining but instead were brown and somewhat withered. The worst off of the Bogdogs had lost their fans completely, and instead were Stained.
Scourged Bogdogs quickly left Plague territory and journeyed to the healing waters of Gladeveins. As they rested in the sanctuary of Nature Scourged Bogdogs noticed they had a strong affinity for detecting Plague infestations. Generally, Scourged Bogdogs prefer to stay close to their home clans avoiding searching for the Shade. Their long slumber in Quarantine Zone #128 has left them traumatized, and they find comfort most in growing plants and connecting with Nature.[/size][/color][/font][/columns]
