Faceted eyes are my absolute favorite! It's really striking on breeds with large eyes, and a nice, subtle detail on those with small. Here's Yuna showing off his arcane facets:

Dark sclera is another favorite. It's especially nice on dark dragons, where it makes the bright color of the eyes really pop. My girl Krait is an excellent model for this one:

Last but not least, swirl! I feel like this is one of the more detailed eye types that still reads pretty well on small-eyed breeds, and I also like how it's very easily available due to being a coli drop. Here's Locus with her swirl-y eyes:
