I try to keep my dragons as biologically realistic/plausible as possible that I don't necessary have strange dragons BUT, I do have very strange and/or specific concepts that I based my dragons on. Best example would be Rem. He got named after an Ancient Egyptian deity of crying, tears and fish. He is in fact just a Wildclaw but that doesn't mean that he's not an absolute weirdo and basically a cryptid.
The controversial thing is the approach I took when designing him. I spent a lot of time looking for the right dragon for this unusual accent. I based him on a very specific concept: the view on ancient wooden fishing rafts that were situated in the middle of lakes, from beneath and underwater during late afternoon.

Veilgeist is a veeeery strange dragon since he performs exorcisms and such by uh.. absorbing the troublesome spirit into itself, overtime resulting in an odd demeanor and altering his personality some, at times their voice can double and theyre heavily masked due to strange melty and spectral features under said masks
