I thought I'd use this theme week to give some love to a few of the guardians in my lair who I don't show enough appreciation for. [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/56422244][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/564223/56422244_350.png[/img][/url][/center] Ruin started life as a simple construct, built by the Earthshaker to perform menial tasks and help with the upkeep of Dragonhome. However, during the Bounty of the Elements he and his bretheren were infused with strong magics that made them sentient. Few of them survived the uprising, and Ruin was only spared so that he could be sent to the Fortress of Ends as a piece of living history. [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/38669233][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/386693/38669233_350.png[/img][/url][/center] Pathounax is the warden of the clan's prisons, which are his Charge. As part of caring for his Charge, he makes an effort to treat the prisoners under his care with kindness, and a focus on rehabilitation over punishment. [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/36556533][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/365566/36556533_350.png[/img][/url][/center] Orion is my random progen. He was originally a mirror, until I scried him as a guardian on a random whim. While he's a founding member of the clan, he's never sat on the council or been particularly important in lore events. Rather, he's just an average dragon who loves his wife and kids. I like him for that, because sometimes we forget to appreciate the every-day things that everything else would be impossible without. (It's also only just now that I'm noticing I have a real thing for putting roundhorns on male guardians. Whoops.)
