I scattered both until they were doubles; one's finished in terms of genes and the other will remain a monster forever. I tried scattering their eyes too, back when sights came out, but they never got anything good so I gave up.

frida was a bit more difficult, because she didn't look very windy. then i realized that stained exists (she is also very pretty with opal, but i kind of didn't want both of them to have opal, so), and [i]then[/i] i realized that she could be dual-elemental! she lived in the lightning region for a very long time, but was originally from the windswept plateau, and eventually returned there and joined samae's clan. here's her finished scry, she's only missing the wind emblem and a skydancer scroll:

Oh boy, I lucked out with Micah, my Custom Progen! His tert is white, which works really well with how giraffe fades into it! When I joined I didn't know what I liked and my dragons where all over the place, but I still have (and love) Micah. Good job young me!

this is my custom, i love her. i only wish I had chosen a different shade of yellow than Lemon because of those horrible dark accents on every gene. but she is Pink Lemonade and if i didn't take the chance to have Lemon wings i would also hate myself, so whatever.

Fitz was my custom progen! He was originally a Guardian. His tert wound up matching okay thematically, which was nice!

Afanan was my random progen. When I got her, she was goldenrod/tomato/caribbean, and at the time there were no genes that could make that look good! So I scattered her a few times and eventually got her current colors, which I love. She started as a Tundra, then was a Fae for a while, and now is a PC!
I got really lucky with my progens' colors (they actually both got Mulberry which is freaky looking back on it, but they match each other insanely well), so I won't be changing them. I completed my custom progen a week or so ago:
