Creed aims a quick but powerful bite to the guardian's back left leg, crushing the bone. The behemoth dragon roars in pain, trying and failing to swipe at the smaller reptile slinking about his feet. "You forget. The size of the teeth does not matter. Only the will and the prowess to use them." She strikes again, this time slicing open the giant's stomach, letting blood pool beneath him. "Want to call me puny again? Go ahead. Show me just how small and worthless I am. Because that worked so well for your comrades." The dragon casts a wary eye to his dead and dying friends bleeding on the stone floors. "'Blessed are the wicked, who's wings hang from her hallowed halls'," the pearlcatcher recites from memory. The guardian's eyes widen, finally realizing who's claws his fate rests in. He will not leave this cave alive. The small dragon grins devilishly, striking now at the tendons in his legs, snapping them quickly and efficiently. The large dragon drops, grunting as he hits the rough ground. "May Mother give you to the shadows," Creed laughs coldly, walking away from the bleeding dragon. A dark shape slinks towards him, called by her master. The quillrunner gives her own toothy smile, revealing rows of sharp flesh-tearing teeth. "You'll make a fine meal for Io. Mind the wings, my love." Creed taps her claws on the stone, and the feast begins.[/i] [u][b]Creed[/b][/u] [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=53612530] [img]https://flightrising.com/rendern/350/536126/53612530_350.png[/img] [/url] A mercenary and assassin of incredible skill. She is among the favorites of the Shadowbringer, often in her court or her woods as intimidation or general security. When not working for the shadows, she handles her own business, smuggling and selling rare goods. It is not confirmed but she has been sighted stalking back roads and mountain passes, ambushing raiders and slavers, serving her own form of twisted justice; a wall of wings is mounted in her hidden clan cave. Short-tempered and grudging, it not very often for her to 'forget and forgive'; you are more likely to receive a knife in your spine than an apology or forgiveness. Nobody is truly sure how old Creed is. There are many many generations that can tell the legends of Creed. Some say she is just one of a long line of shadow assassins. Others say she is immortal, having been the first true dragon created by the gods, fashioned by all of the big eleven. Some say she doesn't even exist, that she is a passing thought, a legend, a shadow that steals the wings of the evil. One thing is clear though, no matter the truth of her existence and being, she is both justice and spite incarnate. [b][u]Io[/u][/b] [url=https://flightrising.com/images/cms/familiar/art/28238.png][img]https://flightrising.com/images/cms/familiar/art/28238.png[/img][/url] Io is the accomplice to Creed; a behemoth king quillrunner that can easily take on a guardian and win. She herself is a master of theft, just as her master. She is silent and has her own fair share of kills, as well as her own little alcove of trophies, preferring claws over wings, unlike Creed. Creed found Io far from her home in the groves of the Tangled Wood, left behind and alone by beast smugglers. Io and Creed have spent many many years together and share a mind, able to cooperate wordlessly and get things done efficiently. Io is quite loved by the Shadow Flight. When she and Creed are not on a job, Io plays with the fledglings and hatchlings, her quills carefully wrapped for their safety. But for as loving as she is, Io is not a shadow you would want to find in the dark, just as spiteful as her master, and much less merciful.[/center]

I'm very happy about this Theme! Great idea! I hope it rotates in with some regularity since matching draggos to familiars is one of the best parts of the game and fun thing to do! First, some shout-outs to just a few of a [i]ton[/i] of awesome and well-done thread additions!: @applechime 's Maryse wins my 'best of show' I think! Awesome colors and perfectly matched! @bonibaru 's Piper: I don't think anything better-matched to that sea dragon familiar is possible! @andersbegabt 's green Imperial! That skin was [i]made[/i] for that familiar. Well spotted! @kanamine 's Stanza! Normally I don't like Gembond much but with the complimenting opposite colorations of it and Mr. shiny lobster it's as impressive as attractive! @galaxanova 's Requiem! It really has the midnight gypsy caravan thing down and the Gyre's well-paired for it. @LalafellPrincess 's Astral couldn't be paired better. :} And last but not least, @ChronicShadow 's Bylr which not only gets points for a great pairing but in discovering that skin I got it myself to throw on my Lightning primal who is now rockin' it! Pretty Sky, and well done! I could go on forever but I guess I should move on to the draggos!
