I've only started collecting primals recently, but I've managed to get some nice ones (at least I think they're nice). I'm trying to breed a fire primal but it hasn't happened so far. General question: How do you guys feel about scalpers?

(I know it can be frustrating, but I am hoping from some good, civil discussion.)

Do you guys avoid people who are clearly selling 5+ special eyes for inflated prices unless they have like, a lair clearing thread?

@FallenAngel: I always avoid scalpers. I've even had a few of my old Primals bought and then put back up on the AH for much more than they're worth - they're still sitting in the AH now, which is a frustrating feeling. I'm also one to avoid inflated prices in general, though, so I probably have less tolerance than most.

But yeah it can be annoying. I usually try to get some profit. Usually nothing beyond 20-50kt. So like if I got a dragon for 40kt the highest I’d put it up for is 90kt and since I’m doing that, I’m very willing to haggle prices. The reason why I started doing this is because when I’d list the actual price I bought it for, I’d sometimes lose a heck ton of money on dragons and I’m like :(

But yeah, the people who know me will know that I’ll significantly lower a dragons price if they seem genuinely interested and not a scalper like you said. I think I had a dragon listed for 1.5kg and ended up giving it to the person for 800g because they really wanted it.

At the end of the day, yes scalpers are, in my opinion, kinda annoying. Ya gotta stick with your morals and not try to scam people really.

I haven’t had much experience with scalpers since I’m barely on the AH. I usually buy my dragons off of people. There’s this user that always messages me about dragons they have and that’s who I generally buy my primals from. But yeah that’s what I think. :)
