When a dragon's colors are too varied to find a perfect match, I try to pick out one or two colors that won't clash with the others, or seek out contrasting colors that complement them. Hello! Thank you for redirecting me to this wonderful thread! ;w; I don't have lore or set story for these fellas yet, but they are in dire need of a matching familiar! This is Surtr. I don't have a personality or lore set yet, but I think the best idea I have for him is so far is that, because of that hellish-lava dragon look in addition to his name being that of the mythical Surtr, being a fire giant who leads his kin into battle, my dragon Surtr was likely part of a line of a [s]small[/s] battalion until he was blinded in battle and forced to retire. Despite being an ice dragon, he's probably amazed by fire. [emoji=new friend] For Surtr, I leaned more into the "retired warrior" aspect than the fire association for the sake of color-matching. I enjoy matching Beastclans to dragons that would need some sort of assistance, whether they're a battle buddy or a seeing-eye centaur. Whichever you choose, perhaps their lore could center around their history together as partners? If you're trying to build lore, I suggest starting with his outfit! See which pieces look best on him, and develop his role & character accordingly. For example, if he looks great in matching armor & jewelry, perhaps he's vain nobility...or perhaps he's a pretty coward who runs away from a real fight. Who knows! For Surtr; Those are all wonderful choices!! The more retired-warrior familiar matching is just as good and I love all these suggested familiars! I went with the Dreadram, but I may make the Conflagrant Ambassador a familiar of his eventually too. A dragon can't never have too many companions/familiar! c: I definitely love the idea of his familiar being his battle-buddy and eventually his eyes! I'll definitely go for that!

For Mukuro; Ty!! He was another impulse buy and another great one at that, he is beauty. ;w; Ohhh I hadn't checked the adult scry until now! and I definitely think the Scalding Jeweler and Loga fit him the most, tho they're all great familiar choices too!! A vain nobility dragon + combined with him being a bit of a coward when it comes to battle appeals to me greatly! I'll see tho, and mess about in the dressing room and look what outfits inspire which!! I definitely love the coward/vain idea, thank you! :3

For Midnight; Even more great familiar choices!! I went with the Floracat, but again I love all the suggestions; especially the mentioned Floracat and the little snake c: He definitely finds comfort in his little cat companion ;w; I'm glad you like him and his minty scales!! He's a real beauty of a Guardian and I'm happy to have acquired him ;w; He also appreciates the well wishes <3

Again; Thank you so much for all the help!! Familiars helping with lore ideas are a concept I haven't thought about yet and I thank you for inspiring me with lores when I can't find them thru their genes or apparels!

OH I did forget a dragon, now that I remember! He is gentle, caring, and sometimes can serve as an ambassador on his Prince's behalf. He is, also, very anxious too and searching for the disaster that is the now-runaway Prince Monarch while trying not to get a migraine and attempts (and fails) to think positive, sometimes can't deal with his Prince's occasional antics.
