I love her colors. The lionfish has this weird, awesome effect on her neck, it almost looks like its part of the collar, or maybe even the smoke from the candles wrapping around her neck. The scry in her bio looks dope too, but what really sold me was how she's dressed I love how you've dressed her in colors matching her secondary, it makes her tert - especially on her face - pop very much, it looks really awesome and your eye is immediately drawn to her when viewing your lair. The effect of her hand and feet having no apparel adds to this, that yellow stands out against the deep blue and orange, almost makes her hands look more delicate than other pc's. I find it very cute how the inside of her ears match the smoke of the candles too, it's such a nice little detail. Everything is tied into something else on her look. She's wonderful! He looks so sturdy, unmovable, massive. He looks imposing and maybe even a tad scary. I think it might be thanks to the bramble mantle diffusing his body, and then the jewels in the haunted flame set standing out against the black. And then those lovely blue tones - in both his secondary, his tert and in the apparel. It ties together so nicely and the result is such an emposing gentleman. His name and the litlte poem in his bio paints a picture that really match his looks. He's an impressive, deadly guy. Maybe? Just a suggestion? This dragon is everything. He is a prime example of an excellent use of stained. He looks so sleek and streamlined, there's nothing unneeded on this boy, he's cut down to the bare essentials and its so, so impressive. I love how his colors are warm, but his eyes are cold. its a lovely, sublte but very cool little detail. I think thats part of why his apparel works that well? The candles match his wings with their warm undertones, but the onyx stuff mirror the coldness of his eyes. Ah, he's so beautiful! I need to get myself an x/shadow/carmine dragon, its an exquisite combo! I imagine he loves silks and fine jewelry[/columns]

What beautiful use of dark sclera! He looks soft and light without genes, the scry makes him dark and foreboding - it's tough to make faes intimidating but he certainly is! He almost looks like an XXY with how perfectly the darker patches in morph match the mettalic. And then wine stained, to add some warmth and depth, perfectly tying in those deep red eyes He's stunning! His outfit looks exciting as well. The roundhorns really underline the intimidation and the use of golden hues makes him look kingly and royal! Maybe, I assume (please correct me if she isnt a fan dragon). Anyway, she's lovely! Such a lucky, lucky G1 - i think thats a theme for your lair! I love stone so much, and this is beautiful use of it. The reds tied beautifully into the noxtide, while the blues mirror the colder hues of the peacock. It's so incredibly beautiful. This gene combo could so easily be busy or messy, but it looks so cohesive and balanced on her, so easy on the eye! The common earth eyes are lovely on her too - they tie into the brown colors of stone, while still being a warm color like her wings! Her outfit is real cute too! I love how many different sets you've used, it looks really interesting. There's a lot of different textures and colors, while still being matchy and lovely - and looking very true to the death note character! She has cute colors and I love the white rose apparel, very cute and romantic! Her scry is wonderful. Wow, she's gonna look so good! The little splashes of blue, matching perfectly with her eyes? Good stuff. The way the purple gems in the filigree seem to match the shade of warm grey both on her shoulder and arm and in the lighter purple sections of the secondary. Stunningly awesome! Such a wonderful, epensive, sparkly girl! I love her outift. It's so smart to dress her in blacks and silvers - it leaves room for her colors to shine through beautifully! The plume wingpiece adds some drama to her too - she really does look like a semi-gothic, romantic, expensive, royal gal! I imagine she has hard eyes, she looks delicate, but you sense clearly you dont want to be on her bad side![/columns]

@Lunarias Sorry for the long wait. I got sick yesterday and had to take a break ^^ Your lair is so pretty. Diverse and full of dragons stunning in each their own way. It was genuinely hard to pick favorites, but I think I've narrowed it down to these three wonderful dragons: [columns][center][b]Apollo[/b][/center] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=43988695] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/439887/43988695_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol]It really stood between him and Aristaios, they're both studies in how great a gold/black color palette really is when well executed. He won out because I'm pretty sure he's the best use of smirch I've ever seen! It can be a tough gene to pull of but he rocks it like no other! It looks like an extension of the poison/toxin, it matches so insanely well. It makes his head stand out too bu adding some unexpected texture - It has the same color palette and spotted texture as his tail, it looks really interesting. And it highlights his eyes! They're the base of his whole (amazing) color palette and I love how much they pop, those clear golden eyes! The fact you've dressed to match them makes him so striking. I love that the little 'beads' on the flame ribbons match his eyes almost perfectly. It's so, so cool!! I imagine he has nerves of steel. I dont know how you've pulled it off. Both starmap and opal are genes with a very hard texture, but on him, the opal looks soft and warm. He's amazing and I want to hug him real bad The wind apparel looks really nice on him too. It stands out against his colors without clashing or seeming messy. It just fits his aesthetic very, very well! The anklets on the breeze cape match his colors so, so well I almost didn't see them! The part of the cape that goes around the neck has the same light green, yellowish undertones as the highlights in his secondary. He looks so cohesive. So alive, like he could move - probably slowly through the clouds on a spring day - in his garments. Wow, this is one of the most striking, beautiful color/gene combos I've ever seen. The dark sections of her primary match the darker linart of the butterfly so perfectly, making those deep, warm oranges really pop. The blue hues in the starmap in her ears and on her chin highlights her face wonderfully, bringing your attention there and helping making the f imp rather chaotic pose more calm. I love her familiar too! It doesn't match her colors perfectly, but it has the same hues of purple and warm orange/red making them look like a cohesive pair They even both have the stunning green eyes! What a lovely pair! I imagine she has a really pretty laugh![/columns]

I adore how much the trident stands out against the rest of him. You might barely be able to comprehend this beast but one thing is very clear; he's armed. Keep slaying me with this lovely, story telling character design, I'm begging you. Speaking of, his bio is chilling. The description of how to summon him is creepy and atmospheric, it shows just enough and isn't cliché at all. Makes me wonder what would happen if you looked back or didn't do the steps correctly. A gravedigger is a cool role too, new and fresh but still definitely foreboding and scary. This lady, man, this lady is amazing as well. There's story telling in her look as well, and her bio mirrors it so well. First of all, the bio is chilling, so mysterious. It has those overtones of her being a scary, magical cult leader, but maybe she was wronged? It's not clear if she's benevolent or not and its the coolest thing. Intriguing, chilling - all good words dripping with interest and a little intimidation too. And her look mirror that. Her eyes are hidden, she looks like a weird goddess, both golden and black - her silhouette distorted by the hands coming of of her. And yet, maybe she isn't evil? She's crowned in flowers nd there's a soft feeling about her somehow. Selfish and brainwashing goddess, or benevolent lover who was wronged and shunned. I cant tell and I'm loving it I imagine she doesn't speak much, but she hums and sings beautifully[/columns] [columns][center][b]Keraunos[/b][/center][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=22783973] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/227840/22783973_350.png[/img] [/url][nextcol]I dont know why the grasps became a theme for the dragons I've picked, you're just really good at using them, okay? This boy is so pretty and I want to hug him. I love how you've made him look mechanical, but still kept a very warm; brown and copper, color palette. It ties in with his more humane and sorrowful lore really well! He's dressed very fluidly, the dynamic pose of the m spiral is utilized so very well, the grasp and his blue colors almost makes it look like there's a water motif going on - again, a lovely contrast to what you usually associate with robotics. Yet he still reads 100% as somewhat mechanical. The matching going on makes me happy too. Had no idea theblues in the steampunk stuff matched the surgestram coat that nicely. He's so good!! I imagine he's very nervous in big crowds[/columns]

This was the kind of lair where i thought 'there might be a G1 imp in here', it's just so stylish and lovely and well put together! He looks rich and regal in all these golden hues, but yet he looks mysterious too. I love the mix of the daredevil cover and the wig ribbon with those little beads that look like eyes - it's a real good look on a seer! The wing ribbons in general are lovely. They have the golden that match the rest of his outfit, but (on my monitor at least) there's a certain cold hue to them that ties very well into his capsule and the kind of dusty, somewhat cold teint to some parts of the butterfly Ah he's so stunning!! He's no angel of justice, he's just an angel of light (brightened by the warm shadows on his cheeks and wings) sitting in the sunset at the beach - which by the way! The image of him sitting with his paws in the water is the cutest, softest mental image I can think of. The little writing piece about him and Sora has that sofness to it too, it's beautiful His familiar is veyr cute for him too. Especially when he's a big cat, and then he has a cute dog companionn- adorable! Second of all; her familiar is perfect for her. Third of all: How dare you make such a beautiful dragon. Her genes are lovely, so matching and nice, but then her eyes stand out. They're perfect, they still have that warm teint to them, but they're visibly green - tying into both her accent, the autumn breeze and her connection to nature. The boa is very cute and it's a lovely nod to her shapeshifting abilities. The ember sylvan stuff match her secondary so well and make her look tranparent and light - while still being grounded by the dark of her primary; just like nature! Oh look, you've done it again; slain me with these looks that match the dragons lore so perfectly! I imagine she laughs a lot and has the cutest laughter![/columns]
