Could I throw in Atlantis? I've been working out a way her different appearance could work within this lore and her stranger appearance since I found this thread from her parents.

Basically, under the protection of COTMI(my clan) she was allowed to decorate herself and let brighter colors flourish, due to the idea that she would need less survival patterns and apparel with constant protection from the clan.
The clan has created an artificial pond kept in check by Gravity and Madzi, some of the strongest water mages. She helps keep Inanis under control after his capture, usually contained at the bottom of the lake, in a chamber she helped dig out. Some of the Plague warriors stand guard at its borders to protect her and the lake from intruding dragons. Madzi is the primary dragon to understand her somewhat more primal/feral nature and speak, therefore works to understand her and translate it to Gravity, her higher up.
