Anyways, I bought this boy a few days ago, and finally got around to dressing him~

I found inspiration in the weirdest place.
I was watching The newest Ghost Adventures on wednesday, and the Lewis Flats School episode is where I found it.
If you've seen the episode, then I'll bet you remember the shadow dude that appeared in the door (A [i][b]BIG[/i][/b] no go, btw). And well, when they talked about being in skin-walker territory, I had the idea.. Dressed him up last night and I'm happy <3
He just needs ghost to make that extra little spoopy factor (:
Now, about the title. I just want to see your skin-walkers/wendigos, since I think people get them mixed up (I know I did)

He doesn't really outwardly look like a wendigo specifically, since it's a spirit that possesses him (seen in his skincent). His lore is that he was chained in the Fortress of Ends for a long time, but broke free. The spirit is still trapped within his frozen body, though, and it still controls him.

Thank you C:: They certainly seem a lot similar, yeah! I'm real familiar with the wendigo legend in general, and it's weird that I have never heard of a skin-walker, given how interested I am in Native American culture. We learn something new every day XD

The main difference is that Wendigo are cannibalism demons which are primarily driven by their hunger for human flesh.
I haven't heard of a skinwalker eating people, but I suppose it's possible. They are, from what I understand of it, more like tricksters.
Aaaaalso it's bad luck to talk about them. Apparently. Probably why people haven't heard of them. You really have to dig deep into cryptid lore and there isn't much information about skinwalkers in general.
As far as I know, even talking about them to certain Natives will make them assume that you could possibly be one. Or that you are being followed by one.
