The clan matriarch and leader Ice, saw this and encouraged her to talk to Moth about her feelings knowing the pair were start to think of ways to try to get Furiosa to join their mated pack. The three of them have now been together for many years.

Everyone is convinced they're both too busy to ever see each other and are only nominally together at this point but surprise, they absolutely have cuddle time penciled into their schedules daily. Sitala is The Proudest Mother but also proudly owns probably seven 'World's Worst Mom' mugs. And Malga was fascinated by the flowers he made as a child. There was nothing else like them in the scarred wasteland, after all. So she used to hide in his flowers all the time, and as a result spent a lot of time around Quintus, even when he didn't know it, and eventually came to love him as well. That prompted her to come out of hiding and introduce herself. The two became very close, and have had a few nests together now. Even though they aren't frequent breeders they spend all of their time together in the garden when they aren't working. Malga is still very shy, and a lot of the time she still hides in the flowers...just not from him any more. At the time, when she was so much younger, that was more important to her. She was also afraid the desire to do so would be seen as weak. When Yersi started all this, Toxi was already a fixture in the clan. He's very well meaning and enthusiastic about trying to be helpful, but he's also mentally handicapped and has physical plague symptoms that cause problems when he tries to get involved in things. In short, most dragons in the clan didn't want him around. Yersinia saw this as an opportunity to 'practice being civilized' on someone who wouldn't mock her, and certainly no one questioned HOW she was keeping Toxi out of trouble, they were just glad not to be dealing with him. Toxi was pretty well instantly smitten with her, Yersi being refined and charming and very pretty, and eventually Yersi herself started to see both that Toxi was in fact still a person, and not actually a prop thanks. Though their transition first to friendship and then to romance was slow and a bit tentative, they're now a very happy loving couple, and have been for years. Cik accidentally moved through the shadows into Zvezda's forge while looking for the superior he was supposed to be reporting to, and not being a fan of either heat or light, sort of flipped out. Not an ideal meetcute, but they eventually became good friends and eventually a couple. He even goes to her forges to talk to her on purpose sometimes these days--though he's careful to stay to the coolest darkest corners, and she's careful to provide them for him. They have a very nice, well-decorated lair together. I mean, it's kind of eclectic, but THEY like it, and that's what counts, you know? Supi has had to have a few nests with other dragons for 'projects' and Venom has been decidedly unthrilled with all of them; she's a little clutchingly protective/possessive these days. But tbh Nade doesn't have a ton of patience for that kind of wibbling: life can be unexpectedly short sometimes, something she and Rho are both poignantly aware of. First inkling she got of Ustokos' interest, she dragged him over to have an open, honest chat with him about the whole thing. He was embarrassed as all getout, but eventually he got over it and came back. Now they're all inseperable. Making his birth clan a better place has always been a goal of his--he remembers back in the day when the only law of the land was the Patriarch's word and his grandmother Icis enforcing it with lots of head-biting. To that end, he founded the Rulings and Ethics Council, which he still heads up. And to that end, he is always, ALWAYS busy. Uzume is also always busy, being another one of the clan's smiths and Delphi having plenty of metallurgic needs. The romance between these two is really more in the now than the then--though they did meet when Uzume first came to the clan because at the time, Tomaandi was vetting new members personally, they didn't especially make note of each other at the time. No one in the clan is really sure how they became a 'thing', and some even say they aren't, but the clan couriers can attest that the two elder dragons send each other love letters between their work posts like a couple of teenagers all the time. When they can, they spend their time completely wrapped up in each other, and Uzume will read letters from their numerous children and grandchildren to her mate. They are the most affectionate and romantic couple in the clan, just a couple of old grandparents who still see the stars in each other's eyes more than any stretch of sky. In all honesty, the start wasn't that romantic--they were tapped for a genetics project the lab sent down the pike--but they got to talking during that brief period of shared proximity and, as sometimes happens, a genuine spark was lit. After the first nest, every one of their children have all been born out of love. I'm positive I've missed some but also positive I've bombed your thread more than enough lol
