This boy ended up taking some dragon's mate and had four unholy offspring, which he planned to raise up as fighters to take over my lair. Thankfully, Hitch caught on quick and had him sent away, while the offspring were sold off while they were still young.
But one of the traiter's hatchlings is still alive, who knows if she'll come back to finish her father's plan.

The clan lost too many members; Ashfall herself lost her mate, several clanmates, and her place in the clan's hierarchy in one fell swoop. For a time there was talk of exiling her, sending her to the Lightweaver to atone, but cooler heads prevailed. Now she lives at the edges of the clan, tormented by the memory of the catastrophe she helped bring about.
