The Monarchs' Sanctuary
"Not all who wander are lost, but they too are welcome to stay."
Sky they/them +1 FR Time
Hey, welcome to my lair! I sell a lot of fodder dragons and spend too much time making Dyesolshyed look beautiful. I loosely work on lore with my brother and a friend, so there are quite a few WIP's. Due to health and personal reasons, I'm on semi-hiatus. Sorry if I miss messages or if I go quiet on you, I'm just trying to sort things out right now. Please be patient; thanks.
I have free-to-use bio templates! Check out this thread to find a variety of appearances for your dragon's bio. I take requests!
Small disclaimer: I get anxious about communication sometimes, so if I don't reply right away, please be patient. Nudging me for a reply if it's been a few days is fine, though. I will be prompt as long as the message regards my bio template work, however! I'm putting out a service so I want to give people a good experience with it. Thanks!
The Monarchs' Clan
Five years ago, two mirrors - Galehfryen, a female, and Tyyfyrx, a male - came to the Starfall Isles and made their home there. At first they were alone; just the two of them, but they often felt lonely, and so would travel often in search of companions. Over time, dragons of all sorts found themselves at home with the two, and settled in the growing lair.
Unfortunately, times are changing. Some months ago, the Elemental Alliance uncovered the heinous operations of the Crime Syndicate within the clan, and a number of clan members were discovered to be implicated. These traitors were promptly exiled, but suspicions remain, as an unspoken question stands: could there be others?
The Pirate Crew
Across Sornieth, in the land of the Icewarden, the great imperial Phosphorus commands a crew of fearsome and fearless pirates. Though his mates' homes are far distant from each other, this matters little when they spend most of their time sailing from shore to shore, pillaging and plundering any poorly-protected clan of their riches.
When Phosphorus' clan was suddenly forced to relocate after the sudden appearance of an emperor far too close to home, they found their standard regimen disrupted. His First Mate, Hyydrahzy, and his brother Jahkahmoto, are doing their best to adjust, but the Nick-Nack clan is experiencing tensions of its own.
Crime Syndicate
Founded by seasoned criminals, and run only by the most sly and dedicated, this crime syndicate is one of the most insidious in Sornieth. It stretches across many clans in several flights, though its influence extends even farther than that.
Grahryykthrk, despite his numerous pawns, ultimately failed to beat the threat of the Elemental Alliance. The confrontation left deep scars, both physical and emotional, on all the parties involved. With no other options, Grahryykthrk was forced to either flee or die - he chose the former.
Upheaval in the ranks, following their exile from the Monarch's Sanctuary, have created significant changes to the power structure of what remains of the Arcane branch. Their retreat to the Shadow-Plague border may be the reason for Blyysenshah's increased power and influence.
The Elemental Alliance
From a collection of a few scattered individuals, individuals from across Sornieth slowly found one another and created an alliance with a simple united creed. They seek to put an end to the rising evil of the so-called "Crime Syndicate", and anything else connected to it.
Their first large scale victory was ousting the Syndicate's Arcane branch leader from his home and base of operations, significantly impacting the overall function of the Crime Syndicate.
They don't intend to let their enemies get away without justice, however, so though the syndicate members fled into the Scarred Wasteland, the fight is not over yet.
Sornieth Divisions
Somewhere in an alternate universe...
Sornieth - though it looks much the same as one might be accustomed to - is not quite like the Sornieth where the Monarch's Sanctuary or the Crime Syndicate live and operate. Flight boundaries, though they do exist, merely mark the boundaries between unique ecosystems and environments.
This Sornieth is ruled over by numerous kingdoms, democracies, alliances, clans, confederations, and other such independent populations. From sprawling empires on campaigns for conquest, to tiny clans scraping out a meager territory, these sovereigns all have one thing in common: a desire to thrive.
