Hi guys! So I finally gened part of a part of a new pair I'm planning on nesting relatively soon once I sell some of my G1s and the like, and I was just curious just what would be a good price point and gauge how much interest they'd garner. Which, in my opinion, given all the gentle yellows swirling with the shades of blue, remind me of Vincent Van Gogh's "The Starry Night": [img]https://i.imgur.com/iqi9WP6.jpg[/img] Now, I was also thinking of perhaps changing her or her mate to a Ridgeback, so her (and some of her possible babies!) would end up looking closer to this: [img]https://i.imgur.com/iY0RQs6.png[/img] I know Ridgies can be a bit less popular than SDs though, so do you think people would still be interested?

Starry Night is one of my current dream dragons! I saw someone point out how lapis striation looks when the gene was released, and I immediately needed it. Will probably start a breeding project of my own at some point if I can't get what I need from the AH So I'm personally not in the market, since I'm looking for something specific that's a little different, but the idea itself is A+ and I'm sure you'll get interest!

I think this is a pretty amazing idea! I am always in favor of doing more than one breed, instead of all skydancers or all ridgebacks. Variety is always good, isn't it?

Ahhh the yellow Smoke is a great idea! Especially, in my opinion, because Smoke doesn't get much love these days. Best of luck to getting your dragon!

Thank you! And a good point - I'm just worried that because Ridgies are common and SDs are uncommon that if I make the gene change I'll only ever get more of one than the other. Though either way, I think people hopefully would support it!

Oh my goodness, she's lovely! The silks look great on her, especially; I'll have to steal that idea, because I've been at a loss for what to give Starry for her apparel. ;3
