The little Nymph followed the egg all the way to where it was found by a Scavenging Dragon, and then all the way back to the lair where the Scavenging Dragon lived. The Egg was already hatched, and seeing he was the only brightly-colored child in a darkly-colored lair, the Nymph decided to stay close to the child and protect it. This little baby is still waiting for a name his adoptive family and the Ichor Nymph can agree on.

Rain happened upon the flickering soul late one night in a forest while picking herbs, timidly playing with stray sprites by a brook. Out of the shadows, a powerful necromancer named Vorriss approached Rain with curiosity. Sensing the imperial was no threat to her nearby spring, Vorriss came to tell Rain about the circumstances regarding the water in their area, and how it draws the souls of lost and tortured hatchlings to its depths. Moved with pity for the orphaned spirit, Rain took the hatchling under her wing as her own child, providing them all the maternal love they could wish for. Never being able to have children of her own, Rain is fiercely protective over her phantom child. When asked about the reason of their death, it brings great distress to the young spirit, so much so that Rain has not tried asking again, and deeply scolds anybody who she believes might try to pressure the young ghost into an answer. Willow never ages, both mentally and physically. They're a timid sort as well, being shyly reticent in the company of others. Most cases of interaction between the spirit and normal inhabitants of the castle town don't go well anyway; Willow is often the recipient of cruelty from others who fear their nature, especially those of devout spiritual belief. Once a priest tried to dispel them from reality, and they've been deeply scarred and terrified of others since. Rain tries her best to shelter the young ghost from the piercing gazes of these types of individuals, closely keeping Willow by her side at almost all times. Thus, most of Willow's time is spent in the school with other young hatchlings, his mother being a teacher. While most of the class shuffles nervously around him, he has happened to make one or two bonds with others. It's a start, Rain proudly exclaims to her friends. She tries her best to encourage Willow to pursue these relationships. There's no doubt Willow has special needs as a spirit, however she wishes the most to provide them a normal life experience.[/size][/center] [b]I'd also like to take this opportunity to call out that stray pixel by the bottom of baby imperials, as I just noticed it, haha.[/b]

Ever curious and bright, his siblings playfully call him a "little sponge" from how readily he absorbs knowledge about the world around him. Coran loves the company of his older sister and brothers - but sometimes he wishes there was another hatchling his age to play with. His familiar Pipikii the sweetpuff fledgling keeps up with him in the meantime. The two are inseparable, and wherever Coran goes the little bird is always bouncing along at his side.

Most of the time they're thwarted by sitters/adults, but sometimes the little group finds something valuable, and stash it away with their other trinkets. This usually involves giving the loot to Mouse's Sparrow familiar, who promptly either hides it for the group in an easy spot, or uses their trinkets in her nest, completely unavailable to the young dragons. So the sparrows discipline training [i]is still in progress...[/i]
