I'll be honest, I hadn't narrowed down the rest of my choices yet at this point as I'm writing this but the moment I saw her I couldn't Not pick her just for the Drama of it all. She was in the den after all, in the very last tab I checked, with Fandragon (1) teasing me, and then here she is with all caps as the final dragon. Iconic. (Post-narrowing down top 5) maybe I was biased to begin with but she did make the cut :P Her Black Trail really makes the look with the dramatic contrast, but other than that- you've captured the character so well with the apparel and colors. Solid fandragon, huge bonus for the roach. His PERFECT eyes drew me in immediately, and after that... just a visual adventure on this dragon! I love all the wispy apparel and he wears that accent subtly but really good, adding some bright blue bits of interest. I find Ringlets so charming when its more busier areas are covered up by apparel, and this is a really great balance especially. He's sparse on apparel but it makes the perfect archaeologist/explorer look with Gem thief, his lil walking stick, and the bandanna... lastly, the rich colors on his wings really help elevate his look! I think it's the "old" genes, it's her being around my progens' ages with a very similar ID, and also looking like one of my first Guardians I still have. But beyond that... She looks beautiful! Her accent and the gold, gold apparel is just so regal, especially with the hint of her blue body, and that crackle is so subtle yet so good with how it adds that extra texture to the wings and the extra gilded gold hints to her tail. beautiful beautiful protector~ [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=54831817] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/548319/54831817_350.png[/img] [/url] Another beautiful Spiral with probably one of my favorite eye types ever, Earth rare, with that classic gold-on-dark look and, Ahem, an accent I'm very personally fond of and always very happy to see a dragon wear for Reasons. There's not much more to say, honestly, I love how the metal/alloy just allows everything else to shine, I love the glowy gradient Runes gives to his arms/feet, I love the perfectly matching familiar. A treat!

I also noticed you had some seriously awesome ones in the familiar bonding tag, especially the last few ridgebacks and tundras, but I figured you would want me to mainly pick from the completed lairs, so I did. Super cool lair aesthetic overall, I gotta say.

The embers on the butterfly wings look really good, like delicate wings made tougher by flame. Speaking of the wings, the purple accents in the wings and the head fins not only matches the eyes, but it also makes him pop and looks great with the metallic primary. That crackle looks like lightning, or just pure power bursting through her. She looks like this really powerful otherworldly being. She poi/tox combo is extremely fitting, she has a very specific texture in my head that i wish i could properly explain. I also love the way the notn head apparel looks on her, and i think that's the main piece that makes her look so otherworldly. I don't think it's intentional, but the fact that the tatters are on the poison primary and the gladeboughs are on the wings make it look like there's a dichotomy going on, one that shows how different yet similar they are. i also love the way the stain mutes the colors and evens her out. she's extremely pretty! The garlands go PERFECTLY with his theme and colors, and the filigree pieces make him like the "silent watcher" type. I love the woodbasket that you added, it's another pop of color that makes him unique and adds to his look. He also probably smells good. Another great fire theme going on, the coal primary fits with the crucible, and the way the smoke and the banner hides a portion of the wings makes it look like the toxin has a lil gradient effect happening. The okapi makes him fit more with the fire theme, bringing it all together. you have a really cool lair!

I love his black and red colouring that comes from the starmap/constellation. That obsidian stain really helps to give him a less saturated look that I am very much a fan of! His accent is beautiful by it's self but it is perfect on this boy. Sirius definitely feels like some sort of sleeping giant in a dying universe, ready to wake and move on as some eldritch being. I think Hex is a wonderful secondary and I wish it wasn't so rare to see. It's beautiful on Kreiwralk! I'm also very jelous of all the stained beauties coming out of your lair! And that outfit! The dark purple that comes from the rasberry is perfect against the softer purples and blues of his outfit. The way his blue face matches with his guise makes me really happy. The jewelery really makes this boy seem like a magic user - someone strong enough he can deck himself in finery without having to worry about an enemy getting close enough to touch it. I wish this boy had a name so I could gush over him some more. Tan adds such a great contrast between the soft brown and stark black when paired with those genes! The haunted apparel works perfectly with his genes. I love how the dark stripe on the nighshroud matches with the black of Lucifer's genes. And there are those gorgeous lightening eyes again! It's winning me over. Blight's shadow eyes do the oposite of standing out here, making them seem slightly sunken. It's a look I love on Guardians! The fact that maroon gives her an almost underbelly really helps to balance out the lighter colours in her wings. A+ Guardian here. [/columns]

@Kayyasha Your lair was... hard. I'm sitting here with nine tabs open and I'm having an impossible time narrowing it down. Just, everything from your main lair to your fandragons are brilliant. I'm usually woefully underwhelmed by the "shiny dragon with silks" motif. It's played fairly straight by just about everyone, and after a while they all seem to start looking the same. However, Via is unique. Subtle touches of golden accessories with the silks give her a rather lovely flair, and I love the contrast of the dark umber primary with the bright yellows. That skincent, specifically, does wonders to make everything pop, and the cream tert/secondary goes so well with the whole ensemble. I also like how her wing cuff looks like it's clipping the silks to her wing. That is some very clever layering! I also don't see a lot of folks rock Thylacine on their dragons and own it, either. I love the choice of colors with him--the brown and creamy white color scheme give him a fae/woodsy look--and his genes are spot on. The "undercoat" of the Thylacine match with his primary and secondary really well, and I adore the touches of gold. They're simple, but give him a regal air. What luck with a Gen 1 (assuming you didn't pay an arm and a leg for her). She is absolutely gorgeous and her genes are spot-on! The matching eyes to boot? Again, [i]hooooooly[/i]. I know she only has a few pieces of apparel, but it works since they're so large and normally clunky. I say "normally," because even though they can lend themselves to a cluttered look, they look absolutely badass on this little lady. She's glorious, and you should be proud of her. A+ Fire rep. I love how the stained gives him a dirty, rugged appearance, and helps him match with his armor and cleaver. The warrior look is also so fitting for male Imperials, with their strong pose with their chest kinda puffed out. He looks like he's ready to kick the snot out of anything that comes near your lair! The chains, the raggedy cloak, the skull mask; it all comes together absolutely beautifully with her "withered" coloration that make her look ancient and ghost-like. I also like the hints of blue here and there--so pale it's almost white but ever-so-slightly off--that really help give her that undead vibe. She's a glorious phantom, and even her breed and posture work to give her that effect! -- Everything, be it hibernal den or main lair, is up for grabs. I guess just dodge the sales tabs?

I really wanted to see what he looked like, and wow, I'm not disapointed! I'm a huge fan of Python on Tundras, it might be my favourite gene for them, and I can't believe I never knew how lovely Coral looked with this gene. It looks so natural, yet very fitting for a Plague Primal. Speaking of Primal, it really is nice how his tertiary is a subtle touch of green, reminding us of his eyes while blending it nicely with the rest. He even got a usermade skin and a boss familiar, you can tell this dragon is loved! It looks great!" streak continues with Shala. I really love that orange and black color scheme, she looks so nice! The outfit is very well made, too. The rugged soldier aesthetic with some nice autumn leaves and flowers? Beautiful! I especially love how the flowers on her head are right next her scar, it's a nice contrast. Her bio tells me she's a cook, and that's just too cute. I can imagine her sharing a nice meal with her clanmates, while talking about past battles. The first thing that strikes me is how big is bio is! That's a big story and a lot of relationships for a dragon, this is a very nice thing to see. Nabu himself is also pretty great. I can't believe I keep ignoring Giraffe as a gene when it can do beautiful things like it does here. Rose was always a cool color, but with those subtle lighter markings? It's perfect. While his body is already colorful, with his bright belly, I love how his wings are an explosion of colors. The rainbow silks are a nice addition to the already very colorful Toxin, and it really makes him pop. You have a lot of excellent fluffy dragons! If I had to keep just one (well, two, since I already talked about your primal tundra), though, it would be Angelo. He really is proof than Stained is a game changing gene - look at those colors! Everything comes together in such a nice way, he's lovely. I like the apparel covering his eyes next to the halo, giving him a bit of a mystic vibe. And the Crystalcourt Cascades straight up looks like it was made for him - the colors of the silk parts really blends in well with his fur. Well, I couldn't ignore this guy anyway, so he gets to be my last pick! Caesar isn't typically my kind of dragon. I don't like browns that much, and Saffron Opal has always annoyed me with its green accents. Yet I felt drawn to him, mostly because his outfit gives him so much personality! Snappers have such a friendly little face that it's hard to imagine them being violent, but this guy's apparel tells a different story - I can totally see him being a conqueror. I think my favourite part of his outfit is how ridiculously big the claw apparel became on him. It's so cool! (next person, try to pick from my lair (everyone here is a perma, except the dragons in the "Ready to go" tab), but if you need more, my hibernal den is full too)

@demizorua I have to say, wonderful lair. Lots of colours and personality, it was pretty hard to choose five! The deep red really made them stand out in your first page and I felt drawn to them, I just had to check Myrna out up close! The layering of the outfit is really good, I love how it overlaps in the right places and that it doesn't break the dragon's flow. I say plumage and skydancers are meant to be and Myrna is showing off with the pomegranate set. The bloodstone cascade have that slight purplish hues that match nicely with their constellation, plus the little gold accents make everything all the more pleasing to the eye. I'm really digging the glowing eyes on this one! The shadow colour scheme of on point, black/gray/purple is a pretty combo but you need a good dragon to work around it, you did a splendid job with Kage. His outfit is so good. I love how you managed to make the bramble mantle look good (a tricky apparel imo) and the ghost flame apparel plus the dusky roses oh my god! It all looks so fitting! I see what you did there with the candles and the gloves/stockings I like those kind of details! Her outfit is to die for, it matches her in every single thing and it's really making me fall in love now. The sky blue silks look so good on her and the autumn breeze is a nice touch that adds a little bit of colour to her other than browns and blues. The little additions you made, especially the roundhorns are perfect, they don't clash with the dragon's body and don't overcrowd her. Show those colours girl! That mint and saffron look so stunning together! They're such lovely colours they look alive! Jayden is a wonderful pearlcatcher but I have to admit I'm really digging their plan, spiral plus swirl eyes on them is going to be a bomb! I can't stress enough how much I love wasp and capsule, they are such versatile and fun genes! The outfit plan as well is so nice and fun! The roundhorns are so fitting too, they're the perfect hue it's crazy! Overall a great dragon, good luck with them! There's something about bogs that is so regal and mysterious and Veenus here is a perfect example of that feeling. When you look at them you feel like there's something more going on with the dragon but you can't quite put your finger on it (you're still ogling after them though). The choice to have a basic tert is great and works wonders for them, swamp and thistle are and interesting combo but not one to underestimate! The swamp beast vibes I'm getting from them is something else, i really like how creative you are with apparel and Veenus is yet another example of that, simple but elegant and thought-out to a T. The headdress especially looks so good on them, I'm definitely taking notes for future reference! I saw him and instantly thought "wow a primal with a superb skin!" But then low-and behold, this is what he actually looks like. Naturally. He's got so much personality and despair just from the classic tundra pose and his dripping eyes, and the general shine in his genes makes me think of something dripping or just got up from a pond or a swamp. Amazing! His lore is also absolutely on point, and I don't doubt for a second that I'm unsafe in his presence. [/columns] [Columns] [nextcol] What?? He looks absolutely terrifying, there's something ancient and very wrathful about his open mouth and glowing eyes, and I'm in love with the uniqueness of it. His bio is short but once again, he paints such a vivid image and association that he doesn't need a whole lot of explanation to get the picture: He's wrathful and terrifying. And he's got a rad color scheme to go with it. But I cannot avoid the glory that is your front page, and the absolute mess and gore-geous work that is Carrier. I love imperials to a fault, and Carrier is no exception. He's unique in the way that I don't often see plague imperials with that sickly green and gory red color scheme. His bio is super interesting too and I love it! The idea of a hatchling with so little knowledge that he unknowingly just ate his own siblings is [i]genius[/i] and gave me chills. Wonderful lore for a wonderful boy! Hope he finds his place and that fellow clan members don't perish like his old home did. Just to change the theme up a bit, Lemonade is the best dragon I've seen in a long time. His paranoia is very understandable. He's got lemons to protect, and lemonade to make. If he has to fight everyone to continue doing that, I say let him. His color palette is simple and wonderful, and very quirky. He's got a vibrant and fun personality, and his exterior isn't an eyesore which is a great combo -v- Adore his superb little bio and the beautiful art, and 100/10 would protect. Teadrop is [i]stunning[/i] and I can't emphasize that enough! After reading her lore everything about the primals I just chose makes much more sense, plus just like with the rest of them, you've got their looks matched with writing spot on! Her glowing, fire eyes and the grasping, floating hands make a haunting and beautiful image all in one. She's a presence you just can't avoid, and I bet anyone who checks your tab sees her glowing eyes first! Her glowing skin has the same shining quality as the eyes and the grasp, and the only thing bringing it down to earth are the bloody, texture-y bandages. Which is a very nice touch that makes her otherworthly but still keeps her enough on the ground to see that she's really a personal part of your lore and clan. She's not just for showcase, she's been through some stuff . Her art is also a 13/10. Her whole being is a 13/10.
