@SakraKaine To be honest, you've got a lot of really cool dragons, so it was hard to just select 5! Orca is also one of my favorite site colors, due to the interesting accent colors it can create with most genes. The Arcane Glowing eyes really stand out, too! Though I don't personally have any eternally youthful Aberrations yet, I'm quite fond of how Aberration hatchlings look, so I'm sure that she'll look really cool once she gets that scroll! I find Pharaoh/Sarcophagus to be an interesting set of genes because of the dark accents it adds, which can look awesome on many dragons. The Soap gene also helps to add the right touch of purple - which makes him look fittingly magical! While I haven't had the chance to own too many Sandsurges yet, I really find the breed interesting. Luminescent definitely lives up to the name! I'm quite fond of the teal/green-range colors, which match really well - and are quite fitting for a Lightning breed! I never really considered how well Iridescent looks with Constellation, but it really adds a little extra something to her. I love how the fortune teller deck matches the green from the lionfish prim and shadow uncommon eyes are just so pretty. I also can't help but like a spooky shadow dragon with a ghost tert like his! I adore the way that you put the plague mask in front of the hat so it kind of looks like his hat is tilted to the side. I love ghost on spirals (apparent by me picking Somber too haha) and those swirl eyes are so pretty. He's both eerie and adorable at the same time and I personally really love that sort of aesthetic! I never knew it flipped the brown into such a lovely cream with brown accents! And the way the skin turns her grey wings into a soft green is perfect! I wanted to make sure I picked dragons I could ramble about since there are a few I really like but the reason boils down to "I love animals and the color pink". Without further ado... I really enjoy his contrasting colors as well, it's really hard to make a red and green dragon without screaming "Christmas!" but you did it really well here! He reminds me of an early fall afternoon. Why is her Scene Dragonhome, could she be on the hunt for ancient magical artifacts? She has a lot going on, despite having no lore, and I like that in a dragon! The pairing of a warm purple and orange really does give the vibe of a desert sunset, so the Scene really compleats the vibe. It's so whimsical and striking, it was definitely what I noticed first. Secondly, this is a really great color match with the apparel!! Ohhhh the green of the carapace armour goes so incredibly well with the genes, I love it especially in combo with that soft yellow underbelly. You are the colors of a frog and I love this. Again, you have some good color matching going on - I love that the color and sheen of the roundhorns matches the actual dragon so well it looks almost natural. He's making good use of some under-utilized fest apparel too. But I especially like the lore, it's a very interesting take on a Plague dragon! Making use of other elemental magic in further studies of Plague... it's experimental and fun. I know most people don't like the super glossy Iri/Shim and I get why, but I think this is an example of when it [i]works.[/i] It gives the Eldritch Sec here an extra layer of depth that matches the rest of his look and energy really well, I'm a fan of just how glossy and dark it is. And it's a usage of that hood apparel I actually enjoy! It can usually come across as a bit much, but I again think it works well with the energy here. And another apparel I don't often see used in a way I like, which is a shame because I love the apparel piece itself! I'm glad to see a dragon wearing it well, his colors go very well with it and it has just the right amount of pop to match the smoke and stand out against the dragon himself while matching too. Would go see this guy dance any time. I dunno, I just like the vibes. More underutilized apparel certainly, but I enjoy the vibe it gives. He definitely looks very stormy, I get the impression of a coming rainstorm when I see this guy in his dark stormy colors and bright, lightning and lights and his relaxed, almost windswept cloak. Man, Will-o-wisp and trailing storm go so nicely. Also just fun to have a guy in charge of your irrigation on the ol lightning farm, inventive! He really embodies an 'under the sea' look and his colors and apparel make him look so dangerous! I love his lore, although it almost makes him seem more like a warlock than a wizard. The tie in with the darker apparel items, mainly the ghastcrown, is so cool! The sanddune rags make him look lost, which sounds like it fits in with his lore as well. I also love the combination of the tasset and the book! The combo just goes so well together! His lore is so nice. I hope he and Fandrel figure things out! The Golden Starswirl helps with bringing out the brighter colors while the woeful apparel matches the bright blues of the accent. Such an amazing dragon! His accent adds to that effect and he looks like one of the smiling skeletons from the Day of the Dead celebrations! He looks mischievous and I'm sure he's one of those ghosts who just disappears on the wind after his pranks! I had to pick Stain, though, because of her amazing accent and how well it ties into her genes. The thistle primary matches the accent color from the phthalo secondary (which phthalo again!) and the dark blues bring out the bright webs of the accent. I love that she is a spellbreaker! I bet she is pretty amazing at her job, although I do wonder what Cleaver is used for... [/columns]
