And with Exalibur both of those things are done masterfully. His outfit with plenty of pouches and satchels for materials and tools. And of course the puppet familiar, I love the idea that he uses his puppet as somewhat of an extension of himself. Its a very interesting idea and the way that you worked his water element into it through steam power is genius. Overall I get the feeling that he's a very caring individual with the way that he speaks about the other members of the lair, its heartwarming and reading through I find myself adoring this dragon more and more with each line of lore. The trial, what happened before and the flight afterwards?! The way that the story ends with the tundra scroll, and then follows with his thoughts on the other lair members. Using the tundra sense of smell and forgetfulness. Actually the way that forgetting is used in Bantos lore is superb. Reading through it makes it echo with a sense of sorrow, like maybe it's not as much forgetting as wanting to forget. Of wanting to leave one's past behind. I have a hard time putting it into words, but Banto has definitely left a lasting impression. Honestly I would love to read more of Clay's adventures in the world of Sornieth. Her interactions with the rest of the clan really gives depth to her character. I'm finding myself very intrigued by her previous history with serthis and the battle at Emperors wake, and the way that it influences her reaction to meeting members of the lair. And again apparel reflecting lore is just superb. I find myself adoring his dedication to perfecting his craft and explosive personality. And Im "Ma' Big Gem Boom Stick" has me cracking up, never let it be said that great rage could be hindered by a small stature. I can fully support doing things out of spite. I find myself enjoying the simple reasoning and humour behind her setting up shop. As well as her vulture companion, brilliantly included into the apparel with the riot Hazebeacon. A colourful character reflected in both her lore and apparel.

I really enjoy the contrast between the colors of the dragon and the apparel they are wearing, the dark colors of the dragon really make the apparel pop. The choice of apparel is also very nice and I love how the pieces you picked work so well together on this dragon. Fracture gives off a black ice feel, dark yet still very frosty and the familiar you chose fits that vibe very well too! The final thing I want to say about this dragon is how much I love the eyes! I think the Ice/pastel combo works so well for this dragon and the snowy white color really brings the apparel together with the dragon, especially with how well the color matches with the icicle chains! ----- [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/39111130][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/391112/39111130_350.png[/img][/url] Next up is Altum, and let me just say this dragon is super cool looking! I have fallen in love with Wildclaws recently and Altum is a prime example of how cool they can look! The apparel isn't too overwhelming and works very well together, and I love how well you mix and match different apparel sets to create such well-done designs and outfits. The skin you chose matches the vibes of this dragon very well and I also really like how the eye color of the dragon matches with the skin and how the colors of the dragon's genes work with the skin to make the skin blend with the dragon wonderfully. ----- [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/74740632][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/747407/74740632_350.png[/img][/url] Oh my goodness, Cumulus is so dreamy! Once again the eye type matches the vibes of the dragon incredibly well along with the mixing of apparel. I really enjoy all the soft colors and how the gold on the Bewitching Bangles accents those soft colors. The silver-stained gene on this dragon definitely makes the dragon I feel, it allows the colors to be less intense and more pastel to blend with the colors of the apparel, and the other two genes are not ones that I see used very often and you used them wonderfully on this dragon! ----- [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/68648023][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/686481/68648023_350.png[/img][/url] I love love love the colors of this dragon! Green and Gold is one of my favorite combos and this dragon wears that combo very well! Dandelion wears the new bee apparel so well and I think mixing it with the Golden Harvest apparel and Gladegift garlands is just wonderful! The name also matches incredibly well with the color scheme and vibe of the dragon and I have to say that choosing between this dragon and the Dragon I will talk about after this one for the spot as my favorite was definitely a difficult choice! ----- [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/37537969][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/375380/37537969_350.png[/img][/url] And last but certainly not least, Lillith! I [i]adore[/i] this dragon, you did such an incredible job with her! Skydancers are easily my favorite breed of dragon, but that definitely isn't the only thing about Lillith that I love. Once again, the skin matches and blends with the dragon amazingly, and in this case, I feel the genes of the dragon and the apparel you chose are able to enhance it as well. The amber/spines tie the gold accents of the skin together with the dragon as well as the golden chain on the plague tomb and all of the reds incorporated in this design work together flawlessly. I believe the riot hazebecon is also a great touch. It gives off the effect that the vulture is holding the lantern out to help illuminate the book Lillith is reading and the subtle green that this piece of apparel adds provides a very nice contrast and breaks up the reds in this design. Incredible dragon and definitely my favorite!

@BadLuckChar1ie I'm definitely digging the way your lair is set up! Little cloisters of dragons who share appearances that reflect the cultures they've formed around their respective gods. What an absolutely incredible spiral, obsidian and radioactive are THE combination to invoke the idea of something scintillant, something a little dangerous perhaps. Those inky dark red eyes are also magical, the way they recess into the sockets of that Ghost tertiary actually makes it look more like there are only tiny pinpricks of light where eyes would be. Not only that, but the apparel choices and familar match are so tightly themed. The Firefly's Kilt is such an underrated recolor, and it perfectly compliments the big chunky chains of their accursed tome. The deep black-green it fades into, the noxious bright green accents that pick up on the leaf tertiary. Art. The Church of Bone being a spooky but benevolent death-positive group of dragons really caught my eye (shared lore motif!) -- and I think the commonality in their dress is a really cool idea. Rothen's outfit has a lot of character too, those goggles providing a needed nod to their bright green body colors are a fantastic choice. The deep orangey golds of her silk apparel add some richness to her otherwise quite marbly palette, like a statue of her likeness draped in offerings from her followers. Absolutely epitomizes grace. She has this appearance of almost acting as a counterthesis to Fate, where she's corroded almost. Something beautiful, but chaotic and perhaps touched by time. Or otherworldly and outside of its grasp entirely. Something about the way her taupe metallic tert seems to be catching a massive reflection of gold light on her tail is really getting me too...those subtle details about how certain genes look on certain breed/poses that really makes you appreciate a dragon. Once again, the palette here is flawless, this set of steampunk apparel having evidently been made for (or crafted by!) this artificer. Something about throwing the shackled book of fairytales really works for her too, obviously there's the implication this is a tome she might make use of for her line of work, but it breaks up the apparel that otherwise all came from the same set in a really appealing way. Umber's dark purple compliments it so wonderfully, and the soft, brassy, almost filigree-esc vines from the accent are just so breath taking. The brighter golds from the halo and mantle are a really nice way to draw the eyes to her face too! I genuinely cannot stop tabbing back at her to just look at her more! As a germ I love to see the aesthetic and skydancers are like my favorite breed. Melli is so pretty yet scary looking. It's amazing how you were able to use her apparel to give off both feelings as they don't usually go hand in hand. I also love that accent on her, I have been trying to find a use for this accent myself so I'm taking notes![/columns] [columns]Another of my weak points, male wildclaws! Sagittarius just looks so ethereal with that skin and the mantle. I love how you used bits of both navy blue and orange with his dark color pallet. It's really nice to see complimentary colors used but not as the main color. Very pretty dragon all around though. I also love the choice in familiar and scene for her as well. Very fitting. It's so clever! I love the skin with her genes and it all just works really well. @Deify Hello! Ahh, I have to start by saying that your whole lair is such a treasure trove of gorgeous dragons. I love all of your Ancients especially and all of the varying colors and genes throughout. I spotted so many dragons that deserve a place here and choosing just five was certainly a challenge! [columns] S E R E W Y N I initially spotted Serewyn as your icon dragon and she was even more stunning when I found her in your lair! Her base colors are beautiful and simple - the cream and blush complement each other so well~ And then what you’ve done with her outfit is a true masterpiece ;u ; You’ve used so many different pieces of apparel, but they all complement each other perfectly. I love the spring unicorn vibe (especially the combination of the blossoming sash and the spring carousel pieces). Lyneth’s entire aesthetic is just beautiful, and once again comprised of pieces from so many different sets all working together to create a perfectly coherent look~ I wouldn’t imagine the succulent cluster piece as such a good match for the muted rainbow colors, but it really fits right in. Of course, I see what you’ve done there with the silk layering again too! [/columns] [columns] T A M A K I Tamaki had me already with just being a beautiful xxy G1, on top of having such wonderfully matching colors (I love the little flecks of beige in the grey swirl and marbled). His accent also complements him perfectly and I’m not sure how you found such a good match for a familiar too! The choice for sunset sarcophagus is just genius and while it’s a bit more subtle, I love the hints of green from the obsidian fade primary as well and how perfectly they complement the jade tones in the accent. Not to mention the complementing pink tones and their eyes also make a perfect match. It’s as if they were made to wear that accent, it’s so seamless with their underlying look~ [/columns] [columns] T H R E S I S It was really a struggle choosing between so many gorgeous dragons, but after much debate, I have to highlight Thresis here as well. I’ve never been so blown away by the the distribution of colors before. There is such a perfect balance of pink/red and black/grey and everything about Thresis matches - from the pastel plague eyes to the sparkles from his accent and glowing tails. I am also absolutely dead reading that his personality and lore is essentially a series of baked goods (I know it’s just a place-filler for future lore, but I took it seriously for a few moments). I do love the concept of him as a singer though - I feel like most Aberrations innately have such a rough/plague-vibe to them, but Thresis is just the perfect example of how elegantly beautiful they can be too. A demon that you can’t help but feel sorry for, all things considered. The black and red fits him like a glove, and it’s amazing how well all his apparel fits together! It could pass as being from the same set. I was initially confused by the scene, but upon thinking more about it, I actually really like how it looks with her apparel! I’ll have to check out the subspecies sometime. I would steal this dragon. He appeals to one of the aesthetics I’m incredibly weak for (space themed stuff) and he looks like a star chart! An ancient incomprehensible star chart, especially with that skin. Even the familiar is color matched very well. I can’t help but imagine what his lore would be like. I can’t wait to see where he goes next! Illumi’s color combo, scene, familiar, skin, gives off an incredible vibe that I’m not sure how to properly put into words. It’s a similar thing to Cipher (who I don’t have any confidence in picking because I know very little about the source material)- like, a very dark villain in an otherwise very lighthearted setting. What a beautiful dragon, especially with genes and colors I rarely like! I had to bring attention to her because wow??? What a dragon! I’ve never seen contrasting black and white work together so well on a dragon like this before. And the amount of apparel is perfect. Too much would cover a lot of the skin, but adding a bit of flair with some apparel can make a dragon look so much better. And you strike that balance perfectly! A slightly eldritch beastie, perfectly fitting of a Naomi descendant.

The branches in the accent blend so well into her existing colours, and the sanguine in particular has lovely contrast with the white. The gladeboughs are a lovely finishing touch to the overall look; the cream flowers give her a little brightness that lifts her overall colour scheme beautifully c: 2 [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/40039536][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/400396/40039536_350.png[/img][/url] Skink/butterfly is a favourite gene combination; the patterns in both work very nicely together imo. The brown and blue in his wings plays nicely with the rest of his look; matching the sapphire mage set and the brown book covers- the warm golden brown accents in the mage apparel also work well with the chains on the arcane tome and the sandglass. The way it kind of aligns with the underlying markings is really cool; the subtle sparkling embers against the brightest part of the wing fading out across the blue and brown bands- it's a really nice effect!
