As a certain blue Snapper from this very clan was trotting around the world once again, The remains of a great fissure she did not recall at all being there before bared her path. Down did this Snapper tumble through caverns and ruins until the heavy Snapper smashed into a jade-colored statue. That fall would have been certain death if it wasn't for the fact that the jade statue was a blessed Earth dragon waiting to hatch. Both the snapper and the green dragon screamed for several minutes at each other once that dust settled.


"Torbin was the first dragon I ever met in my life...And what a first impression it was. I think she was more scared of me than I was at her, since I was the one who had to calm her down from screaming- haha. Though... Then she ran away, and I didn't know what to do... So I just ended up chasing after her! I learned a lot about Sornieth while following her around. Originally I thought she didn't like me because she'd keep running ahead when I pushed myself to the point of exhaustion. But she'd always come running back to me if something was about to jump me when I was following her trail. Even somehow when I was days behind her, she'd rescue me in the nick of time. Now I know looking back at everything that she was preparing me to explore the world. Especially with how she turned around when we reached the end of the road and said;
'Welp, this is it. You're welcome to stay if you wanna'.
I knew then everything she was doing was some sort of test. Others may think she's completely lost her marbles, but to me, she's just as wise as any normal Snapper. Truly, she is a proud example of Father Earthshaker's common creations. A shame her eyes do not match mine."

"Our Lair Leader. He was the third dragon I've ever met, second formally. We met when I followed Torbin into her abode, shortly after I attacked the familiar of one of his clan members. I even attempted to escape for I recognized him to be of the same race as the monstrosity Torbin and I fought together at Emperor's Wake. The way Excaliber used his magic to keep me from fleeing however was nothing short of masterful. That talk after that schism I sensed was a very uncomfortable one for him, having to explain what he was and who I am. He may not express much when he talks, but he has given me a home in exchange for my labor. He has earned my respect, and my claws.
My favorite activity he sends me to do is to track down Torbin when she goes on her jogs. It allows me to spend more time with my favorite wyrm!"

"Torbin formally introduced me to them, which the latter party was quite surprised to see Torbin doing anything 'formally'. Barkeep was the individual who gifted me the clothing that I wear. To be honest, they're quite cumbersome, but it seems to be within the style of this clan to wear something to express oneself. On Torbin and my many adventures around the world, she has never led me yet to the freshwater sea. So Barkeep fills the void by telling me all sorts of wonderful tales of when he, Torbin, and the Lair Leader lived in the sea together in their youth. They lived in the deepest of trenches and listened to the words of the great Tidelord through his many bubbles. I hope I can convince Torbin to travel down there with me one day for I want to make it a life goal to hear one of His prophecies. Maybe then I'd know what to do with my life...
I also later found out that Barkeep was Ultima's betrothed and asked him for advice on how to improve my relationship with her.... And he only said 'Don't wrong her in the first place'. I am at a lost for words..."

"Ultima is the second dragon I have ever met, third formally. Her familiar took me off guard immensely, for I have only ever encountered hostile Serthis... Serthisies? Anyhow, she still shoots daggers at me whenever I walk by since I attacked Eventuma on our first encounter. I hope our relationship can repair itself but I I don't think I've made any headroom yet. . . ."

"Torbin's beloved son! He's quite the crafty one. I've attempted many times to try to see how he prepares his dishes so quickly, but even when I shift into stone in his station he just stares at his pots and pans until I'm escorted out. One day I'll find out his secret yet!"

"Ah, the peculiar one. For one whom carries a cutlass around, I've not seen him once use it, not even for flaying a fish. His magics are deceptively potent too. I often fantasize who'd win in a fight; Torbin's might or his cunning clever tricks... I think Baitinclaw would win that matchup. Oh...! Whoops! Don't tell Torbin I said that, because that might cause an actual fight to start!"

"Our Lair Leader forbid me from shifting into stone to prevent his son from biting me. I for one think would save us all some scars if this little one learned a thing or two after getting a chipped tooth..."

"This is Tigana, our Lair Leader's first son. Though, he is adopted. But I'm adopted as well, I think so anyhow? Regardless, when it was clear that I was accepted into this clan by Torbin's vouching, I was gifted my most prized companion from Tigana. They named him "Buddy" but isn't that insulting to name our earthly Father such a common name? Regardless, Tigana's gift to me goes with me wherever I go. What a wonderful animal trainer Tigana is."

"And speaking of trainers, this is Lucrest. He dedicates himself to training exults for the sorrowful Stormcatcher. Lucrest tried to get me on his training routine but once I showed off the many skills I acquired from Torbin's tutelage things just crumbled apart between us. Maybe he does not like Torbin's training style that much?"

"I once escorted Apophyllite out of our lair for he was disrupting the many visitors we get. I thought of him then as nothing more than a drunkard. Imagen my shock when I discovered that not only did they live here but he was also Snacker's father too. Whoops!"

"Banto took an intense liking to me once we were formally introduced. After learning about what Tundras are, and listening to Torbin rattle on about the others on our many endeavors together, I'm beginning to suspect that he likes me only because I have zero history to my name to speak of. What a rather paranoid and lonely fella now that I think about it..."

"Torbin confided to me all about what Excalibur says about KyaDil; With how Excalibur our Lair Leader has such a complex history with her. With how she's only a squatter for us at The Spire. Torbin doesn't even know if they love each other. I feel bad both for our Lair Leader being stuck in a weird relationship and for me wanting to just hear how their love life spirals down into a black pit. Is all entertainment this cruel yet so sweet to consume in this world?"

"I've spotted this woman many times while on my jogs around the great sea with Torbin. Excaliber forbids any of us to interact with this one, but Torbin ignores that rule and buys fish from her often. She seems rather nice frankly. I don't understand why our Lair Leader would discriminate against one of my own flight like that... Torbin tells me not to worry about it, but it's hard not to..."

"I've spotted this fiend several times on our runs. And I've sensed the excess magic of my brothers and many others flights off of her claws. Even the brave Torbin makes takes long and winding sideroads to not run into that black soot's pack. If she and I ever encounter one another? The so-called dragon seemed to be rather large to be a Veilspun..."
