I think the Carbonized Opalites would have been "pressurized" under a mountain range, but I like to imagine that the Fire Forged were pressurized near lava, deep within a volcano or next to a field of magma. They could have developed their MetAlloy to protect themselves from the intense heat....What d'you think?

Also, I'd love to be pinged for any updates you have: new lore, new variants, or if you need help with additional stuff. And like Gedhyr said, a pinglist for sales might be a good idea.
