Hey cool, kingdoms! My own lore is centered around being a Nature kingdom. My lair, or kingdom, only has a queen:

my progen, Nim (who's being scattered so.... yeah. Awful colors, don't worry about it. Skins are convenient.), who needs boys anyway ;P? Nah, just kidding, my lair DOES have a prince though, a gen 1 'taken in by the Queen', as it were, and that's this lil fella:

Mira would be my queen, and her kingdom would mostly consist of warriors and spies, following after their queen.

Her king would not be her mate, it would be Kage, her spymaster. He would keep an eye on things, keep her up to date on the going-ons of the kingdom.

Her mate would be her consort more than anything else, a very loving, supportive consort who would definitely stay with her through thick and thin.

Now if my lair would be a kingdom the king would defo be Khelgar, due to from his lore he actually was once the ruler of a small mountain civilisation before it all fell apart and he began traveling. His Apparel actually fits quite well there too. He'd be a rather warmhearted ruler.

The Queen is actually a rather odd choice, I don't have any that fit the role (even Estella, she's supposed to be a "Regal Guard", not a royal) but it came down to Lilen. She isn't exactly a queen but in a way is the "Mother" of the entire lair, taking care of others and being in general just a fluff who would be fitting on Khelgars side (for the purpose of egg producing I actually couple her exclusively up with Khelgar)

My lair is more like Genghis Khan's tribe rather than a kingdom, but it does have courts.
Meet Dekoxo, the grand ruler of his people.

At first, he was just a simple magician apprentice. But, he along with a group of trusted friends managed to infiltrate several different groups, take over, and then take the dragons back to Plague to build his kingdom. He doesn't have any official queens, and only one surviving son.
Now, there are several courts, lead by a single figure. All members of the court belong to a single breed, though they may take up wives or husbands of different breeds. But, in order for a child to be considered "legitimate" and able to be accepted as a full member of the court, they must have the same race. ( e.g Wildclaw leader can have Imperial wife, but any non-WC children cannot be chosen as successors (and if the WC leader is to die without a WC child, then the closest WC kin is to succeed him) nor could they receive any benefits of the court).

Alamir is the head of his respective court, and is known to be a selfish noble. He came to the lair of his free-will, bringing his alchemist guard along with him.

Ruslana is a head of her own court, a position given to her by her father. Her mother is actually one of the lair's royal guards and a member of the WC court.

Skywishes is the current clan leader, but he's more of a Governor than a King. The clan is fairly democratic and elects from their own ranks who leads.

while my lair has a clan leader, I wouldn't say he would be the king (in a castle he'd be more of an advisor/wise man kind of guy) BUT since I don't have other options I'd say him (Morgus)
