They are playful as their name suggests, and only come out at night to flit and frolic under the light of the moon. Their appearance combines the aspects of both flights; muted purple colours of the Shadow flight with Windy markings across their wings and body. However, some stories tell of a night long ago in the Zephyr Steppes that was calm and still. Too calm for a land that was the domain of many winds. It was said that the Windsinger rectified this by blowing a gentle breeze across the Steppes that made the bamboo stalks sway and dance as they sounded a low hum. Shadow Dancers came to life from the Windsinger’s breath, graceful and mysterious with melodic voices. While sightings of these dragons are mostly in the Zephyr Steppes, they have recently begun to appear in the Tangled Wood as well. [center][img]https://i.imgur.com/Wpl78Ln.gif[/img][/center] Shadow Dancers have an abundance of energy and are agile and playful, always in motion as they sway back and forth. Those lucky enough to have seen Shadow Dancers on the Steppes at night get to watch impressive acrobatic displays and games of chase across the moonlit sky. In rare cases where a Shadow Dancer chooses to join an established Clan, they enhance the dynamic of the Clan with their cheerful and fun-loving disposition. Unfortunately Shadow Dancers are eager to go out cavorting late at night when most of the other dragons are trying to settle down to sleep. A downside to their personality is that they can be unreliable and very fickle, the latter being a trait of their Shadow heritage.
