Two of my oldest and most beloved dragons, Quainu and Saranyu, have a terrible range together. Thus, their kids are generally slated for exaltation. When I bred them in preparation for the Wavecrest Saturnalia dominance push, I was expecting more of the same. In some ways, I was not surprised- one memorable dragon from that clutch was something like Swamp/Tomato/Lavender. And then, there was this guy:

So fluffy and cute and colorful, and even his tert is workable! I knew I had to keep him. So finally my oldest pair had a child to raise. His wing muscles are insufficiently developed, which explains the steampunk devices he wears for support, though he'll never be able to fly, and his parents' decision not to send him into the Tidelord's service. Though in coloring he looks more like his mom, in other ways Revanta takes after his father, being a powerful mage (in training), with a cheerful disposition and a smile for just about everyone!

Tavin has been sticking around for the past week or so. I breed his parents for exalt fodder every chance I get, but sometimes they turn up something too beautiful (which is like 90% of the time, they're perfect for each other).

i bought a mate for one of my kids (who'd just been born that day age is just a number etc) and noticed he could breed, so i just threw him in the sack with the one female who was ready to go, so that by the time my girl was grown up and ready to mate, so too would he
they had two eggs, and the one makes a Fantastic skydancer but ohhh

The ONE time i get a dragon to actually be born with gembond, and its GREEN on a RED DRAGON! hideous! its not even Festive, its just, horrible
i was gonna send him on his merry way, but while screwing around with his sister in the scrying shop, i thought to see what i could do with him, not expecting much, of course--\

Grimsby here I had a super tough time deciding whether or not to exalt him. He now is the father of one of my favorite pairs. Never give up on your exalt fodder babies.

It was hard to pick just one (I'm the sentimental type, lol), but I'd have to go with this girl. She's nothing special, and she's certainly not flashy, but I really like her.

To be honest, the only reason he came to be was because I just couldn't exalt his mother and leave her sister all alone. Now ironically, her sister found a new home and Beryl is just sitting in my liar going, "You aren't allowed to get rid of me - I gave you a pretty baby boy who you planned to exalt. You still exalted his brother, but you shall not exalt him. I will eat you if you do..."
That being said, I fell in love with Abdiel's colors and didn't have the heart to exalt him. I have, admittedly, put him up in not one, but two give always for new users - yet I seem to be the only one to really want him. Time he stay for good I suppose.
