Apologies for any mispings - I'm trying to find everyone who was interested.[/size] To keep this short, it was basically a dragon adoptable game, where you can explore the world, breed your dragons, yada yada yada. The idea was great but because I didn't plan things out well, I stopped working on it. Recently I've decided to restart it, though, and I'll be testing my ideas with a small number of users (thinking 8-15), and if all goes well, I'll let more people join. Things are far from being complete, so this'll be a fun road to travel. I'll be working on this live but it shouldn't take too long unless something big happens; I'll try to post [b]weekly updates on Saturday[/b] to keep you guys in the loop. @zikitty I drew this, I hope that’s fine! I did different colors then the concept, Is that ok? I usually draw more angular sharp dragons, so it was nice to draw something with such fluid motions. Would you prefer I draw each marking (gene) individually, or use bases? [b]Drawing each individually:[/b] [color=darkgreen]-no clutter in my files (well, less clutter) -more room for creativity -helps distinguish between individuals[/color] [color=darkred]-may be confusing which marking is which -breeding more unpredictable -hard to get identical dragons[/color] [b]Using a base:[/b] [color=darkgreen]-each marking is clearly distinguished from others -easier to get a dream dragon -possible scrying (i mean, i still have to wallop the bases together but at least i have lock alpha)[/color] [color=darkred]-no individual flair -rip files [s]i only have five marking ideas that will for sure be used... if each breed only had one pose that's still twenty drawings.[/s] -may become repetitive[/color] ----- [size=2]Markings are layerable genes. For example, one marking might have spots on the shoulders, neck, and back, and another might have zebra stripes. If you have both markings, both would show, but one would appear on top of the other. Uhh I don't know if I explained that well so here's an example. The dragon has a stripe on its back, layered under patches across its body.
