Sketch out plush idea based on apparel item designs and Luminax on the world map. 3. Pattern sketching and testing 4. Sew test plushie 5. Modify pattern, sew more tests, etc. 6. Final details and changes 7. Sew final plushie 8. Giveaway?????????? Depending on how busy I am, I'd hope to finish them in the week? @xXShiverXx I know!! I signed up for pings on yours. :D I saw lumi plush on tumblr first and ran here to make a thread. Then saw yours in general like probably ten seconds after. I was so excited to see I wasn't the only one that was like, ah yes, a new plushie item. Time To Make It Now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Step 1: try to acquire luminax plushies. 80 guilded chests later, no luminax plushie, I got the wrong one! D: [img]https://i.imgur.com/TeH8D3J.png[/img] (Why don't you just open your marva bag, Moose? You have three marva bags in your hoard.)(Yes but if I OPEN them, I will no longer have the marva bags. That is the dilemma.)(I still have unopened Marva Hats....) I took a bunch of screenshots of Luminax last night, just to have all the angles of how the plush looks. I'll be changing a few things, as I go along, just because what translates well as a 2D art doesn't always work the best as a 3D plush! And I want to give them little whiskers too. [img]https://i.imgur.com/CN9FXXb.png[/img] Things I noticed: Lumi-plush has an extremely CHONKY neck. And the F IMp and Spiral plushies have a small red patch stitched on the brown/nature arm that none of the other plushie poses have. Possibly an Oops from when the lineart was flipped, because the black/fire arm DOES have a red patch in all the poses. Lumi's tails are also the black/fire and cream/light color, which is annoying for turning them into a plush, because if the tails were black/fire and brown/nature, both sides of the plush would be symmetrical and I'd only have to pattern half the plush and then mirror image it. No back legs! Like...I knew they didn't have back legs from the story (Lumi-middle head said their legs buckled under them and felt "asleep", and then Lumi on the map just drags their silly little body around making a giant mess... but this will be the first quadruped plushie I've made that only has 2 legs, so it just extra dawned on me now. hey moose! i love your project so much and can't wait to watch our beloved luminax become a plushie. i think you might like to see the images for lumi on the map, each has all of the frames per animation without background clutter so you can more easily find whatever detail you need!
