It is kilometers distant from the closest island, which makes flight tiresome and dangerous due to the thick fog that plagues it's skies and the intense wind activity. Named by the ancient generations, Synnirnu means 'Pointed to the cosmos' in rough archaic Arcane language. It shows rough weather, with windy lightningless storms at spring and damp, humid hot air in most seasons. Cold weathers dominate in the highest reaches of the land. The presence of bismuth and high radioactivity metals is abundant, and the prolonged exposure of a non-arcane dragon can drive them ill. Transactions and flight activities observations are shown to be scarce, due to the common sense of avoiding contact with the island. Despite the high radioactivity levels around the spires, vegetation is observed to still grow at normal rate. However, the specimens have higher probability of mutations and anomalies in behaviour such as abnormal coloration and anatomy. In-land dragon activity is lackluster and the land was barely touched, what drives the attention the most is the anomalous downfall of water in the center of the circular natural formation of the island. A large part of it remains unseen at the most, only visible by an opening in the surface situated in the natural circular formation of the chunk of earth. To the east, large mountains adorn the landscape. To the West, immense spires protrude from the ground and curve towards the Observatory. The waters surrounding the island are violent and uncontrollable, making travels by boats or swimming nearly suicidal. In land, the ambient is stagnant.
