~ First off, can you please add bug/bugs to your neos list? my friend uses those and it would make bugs happy if there was a button for it :3
~ Next, I think you put "Age Regression" and "Agere" in the wrong place. Age Regression isn't really an aesthetic or a subculture, it's more a trauma-induced coping mechanism, I think it'd fit better with the disabilities & disorders
~ Also, "Aspergers" & "Aspie" are outdated terms, and the history is kinda dark... the term aspergers comes from hans asperger who was a nazi in charge of people with autism, and he labled the "better ones" aspergers so that they would be slaves instead of being gassed and murdered like the rest. (

~ ADD is also a bit outdated. It's not really used anymore, ADD was merged with ADHD. It's not really recognized by the APA anymore. (

~ idk this is probs more an opinion, but I don't think cis flags should be there?? cisgender people shouldn't need a flag and pride to be allies, they dont need pride for
not being trans lol. being trans is incredibly dangerous and so we need pride to normalize our lives. same with straight pride tbh. I've literally only ever seen straight / cis pride in a homophobic / transphobic context.

— While I wholeheartedly agree with you on the *sp*rg*rs point, some people who have carried the dx their whole life still identify strongly with the words, and it’s not our place to police that (and I say that as a formally diagnosed autistic person myself). I’ve resigned myself to considering it similar to a reclaimed slur like queer.

— Yeah, ADD and ADHD come in loads of different flavours! Personally I think the more subgroups the better, so that care plans can be more specialised (I’m kinda bugged by the fact that they’ve swept so many different dx into ‘ASD’ that are very different lol)
— I fully agree with you, it’s a horrible origin. I personally prefer to censor his full name but most people don’t AFAIK. I do still use the term ‘aspie’ though, because we don’t really have a good diminutive to refer to ourselves by? Some use ‘autie’ but that’s icky in its own way IMO
— Yeah I agree about just using the M/F ones. I’m a big fan of the Ally ones tho bc if people are willing to use them online maaaaaybe eventually people will be more comfortable wearing

elementmaster has pretty much covered my reasoning for keeping the ADD and asperger's ones! i'm autistic myself and familiar with the issues with asperger's as a diagnosis, but i know there are people who still identify with the labels since that's what they've had their whole lives and i don't think it's my place to take it from them if they still want to claim it.
regarding the cis ones, as mentioned in the masterpost i originally made these for my dragons' bios! i don't think actual cis/straight people have any need for "pride" but i find it relevant to specify whether my characters are cis or straight just as much as if they're trans or queer - leaving that off implies cishet is the default, which feels icky imo. if anyone has suggestions for a better "flag" or icon of some kind for those i'm open to suggestions though :>
i'm not sure about putting age regression under the disabilities/disorders. although many people who do it are disabled or mentally ill, anyone (including abled/healthy/NT people) can use it as a coping mechanism. it also is definitely a subculture on the internet as well, though not everybody who does it participates in the community - it's a bit complex. i don't think it's hurting anyone being where it is?
