Lately I've been having a surprising number of issue with the captcha, especially with baby dragon images. For example, I normally find baby pearlcatchers easy to identify by the pearl, but even though I click on the pearl itself, I just get a new captcha.

Today, I got a series of captchas with baby veilspun in it several times; it was a series because it didn't like any of my answers, even though I was sure I'd seen a dragon each time, and now I'm locked out. I was finally having a good run in the Golem Workshop, too, and now I've lost it. Very discouraging, and I have no idea what the problem was.

I am not playing while zoomed in or otherwise altering the view of the page. I am using Chrome on desktop.

@NetShy If you have not already, double check your zoom level on coliseum page. Since it's one of the very last pages under the old domain, the zoom level on coliseum is separate from the rest of the entire site (excluding settings and some fairgrounds pages).

@Ralzakark thank you, but that was the first thing I checked, since it was the only known issue I saw here. I was not zoomed in.

Slow connections/errors can also cause this; check your traceroute to see if there's a bad node (slowness). For errors check your modem; it may need to be rebooted.

The low-tech answer for slowness is to let the captcha load fully and sit for a second before clicking. If giving it a slight pause works it's likely some sort of connection error which will eventually sort itself out when the relevant authorities fix the node or you get another route.
