then i fed them, they all ate the normal amount of food for all being at 44/50 and no more

I have had this problem as well, plus my dragons seem hungrier than normal? I'll have to keep track of how often I'm feeding them, but it really does seem like they're showing as down by a point or two more often now.

It always confuses me when I'm doing other things on different pages over hours and seeing the energy still at 100%

Same here. My energy bar hasn't changed from 100% in like 3 days. I didn't notice until I realised it had been more than a day since I fed my dragons. Some are at around 70% now, which should definitely have affected the energy bar.

Same as the rest. Energy bar hasn't been reflecting that my dragons are depleted but I'm trying to stay on top of feeding them. Haven't lost any bonuses for it yet, but you'll be the first to know if I do.
