Hiya! I was told to move my issue report here, even though it's not about the colors but about the layer clipping. Please let me know if that's not the right place either!
Basically, on a skydancer hatchling base, stained gene doesn't cover the cheek horn appendages and the bony sphere with antennae on the forehead. Below are a few examples to see it:
Basic White-White + a dark stained =>

Or with genes\other colors to show how it affects them =>

It doesn't appear on adults and affects only skydancer hatchlings.

Female tundras with a basic primary are missing the color around their eyes.

Wellll I have a bug to report! I'm not sure if this one has been reported before (at least in full), but I did a complete study on it, so it felt worth posting.
Pearlcatcher Male Noxtide is.... completely broken. Here's some examples:

It does not depend upon color (to my knowledge. I haven't checked all of them, but every one I've clicked on has been influenced)

And it is not influenced by the primary gene (or color of the primary gene)

Or the tertiary, for that matter.

Please compare this to the F pose

You'll notice that the bones of the wing and the space behind the front wing are rendered properly in this pose.
This might actually effect two poses (I checked all of the modern breeds), to my knowledge, the second being Skydancer Female:

(Look at the space on the back wing, behind the base of the neck and to the right of the closer wing.)

(And compare the same region to a different gene. Again, this applies to all colors, I think, but it's more obvious on dark ones, unlike the Pearlcatcher glitch, which seems fairly obvious on everything)
Anyway! Sorry about the long report, but I hope this helps identify the issue!
For better reference, see this post! This is completely inconsistent from every other breed, and the wing arms just straight up aren't colored. This has been here for a Long time, and has remained untouched even when male coatl back wings were fixed on noxtide. I am Literally begging for even an acknowledgement that this exists at all
bumping up knowledge of this existing- still an issue, still completely untouched, still absolutely no acknowledgement.

Metals Stripes appears to be incorrect on Imperial hatchlings! The stripes are dark brownish rather than gray.

the shading ends abruptly- Stonewash, Sand for the example, but happens with almost all colors I think

Not sure this is a bug, but it appears that imperial hatchlings don't have any markings on their far back leg for lionfish. It appears to affect all colors of lionfish, but there are other genes where this isn't a problem.
Runes also doesn't appear on that same back foot, though I'm not sure if this is due to omission or just the posing.
Adult art, for comparison:

i didn't see this when i searched this forum so apologies if it's been reported already, i noticed with sky stitched and patchwork some dragons' gene line art doesn't look colored. for adult m. ridgebacks and adult f. imperials it's stitched, adult m. wildclaws it's patchwork, and for hatchling & adult f and m veilspuns it's both stitched and patchwork.
i looked at all of the available breeds and models and these seem to be the only ones affected. imgur link for easier viewing if that helps
