Greetings, and welcome to the (technically grand re-opening of) Runic Tidings Hatchery! I decided it was time to start it up again, since it looks like I’ll be sticking around after my most recent return. Just like before, it’s a pay-what-you-can hatchery; dragons that are listed for sale will have a price associated with them, but it can be negotiated and haggled if it’s out of your range! And to help make it easier to get pretty dragons into the lairs of those looking for them, I take various forms of payment (more information in the Rules). Enjoy your visit and hopefully you’ll find something you like!
These rules have been updated from my old hatchery, so even if you somehow remember it, make sure you give these a read so you know the changes that have happened.
1) Please be respectful of your fellow FR users.
2 I will accept payment plans if necessary. Plans are to be paid in full before the dragon is sent over.
3) Individuals on ping lists have Dibs on the hatchlings they’re part of ping lists for, and the Dibs’ period lasts for 48 hours. This means that for the first two days, people on ping lists for any given pair will be given priority for that pair’s hatchlings. After 48 hours, the dragons become available to anyone.
4) Individuals with Dibs are not able to put dragons on hold; they’re first-come first-served.
5) After the Dibs period has ended, dragons will be put in the AH, and a dragon can be reserved for up to 72 hours by anyone interested in it. If you see a dragon you’re interested in that’s listed in the AH, be sure to let me know as soon as you can so I can remove it from the AH and prevent it from being sold.
6) If you get a dragon and later decide to Exalt it, please consider naming it beforehand. I understand Exalting is an important mechanic that is necessary for the site, and that sometimes you get a dragon you end up not needing, wanting, or having the room or food for. I have no issue with silly or random names for Exalted dragons.
7) Please make sure you ping me when you post so I'm notified right away! To ping me, just type @Elai, or copy and paste the ping there.
8) I'll sometimes name less expensive dragons if a nest is hatched on Friday or Saturday and there is a heated Dom battle. If you buy a pre-named dragon, I can provide a Renaming Scroll for an additional 3,500 Treasure.
9) Discounts are available! They can be found at the top of the For Sale post.
10) Hatchlings from my Veilspun pairs, when they become available, will be listed at a higher price than pretty much any other dragons I’ll have for sale, and that’s mostly for when they’re placed on the AH. Prices for them can, like every other dragon, be negotiated, and payment plans created if the need arises.
2) I accept items as payment! Various Chests, Unhatched Eggs, Familiars (especially ones I don't already have; just ask, unless you feel like digging through my Bestiary), certain Swipp items, Baldwin materials, other odds and ends...depending on the dragon you want, let me know if you’d like to make a payment of/including items.
3) Payment plans can be broken into whatever amount fits you best. Details will be worked out on a case-by-case basis.
4) I can take mixed payments, and I can take currency opposite what the dragon is listed for. For example, I can accept Gems for a dragon that's listed for Treasure. In the case of payments made using mixed currency and/or items, a two-way Crossroads trade will be implemented to make things easier and help prevent mistakes (of which I make plenty haha).
