it's totally up to you what happens once you have a derg.
The entity will cease to be the Variance the moment it leaves my clan— it could morph into another facet of itself, go kinda dormant and still hold onto the dragon, or leave completely.
It could corrupt a few dragons before being found out, then hang around and coexist, or leave.
It's all up to you~
