A skill I learnt whilst studying for my degree and a process I enjoy as it allows me a lot of creative freedom that isn't restricted by my drawing ability (drawing mechanical things for example). I use photos found online (only use images I have permission to use) and combine, manipulate and refine the images so they blend together to create something new. Whilst I do use images, I spend a lot of time altering and drawing into them to make the design look cohesive. Depends entirely on the type of commission, the complexity of design, the time between sending updates and getting feedback as well as other commissions going on at that time.
