I'd just like to thank the admin team for their handling of this all. It has to be one of the promptest and most understanding responses to community feedback I've seen, and it's wonderful to see how you value and care for your players.

I want to say thank you to the FR staff for their quick response to the complaints and also to Thrage for realizing how his comments have affected others. I do, however, think it is taking it too far to rage quit over this. I never got the impression that Thrage was personally attacking any group of people, he just doesn't understand it. That being said, I am still very impressed with the way the FR staff is handling this, including Thrange.

He brought up FR when he mentioned the Static game and his gross opinion of those prone to seizures. Way to either not know all the information or conveniently leave that part out. I've been seeing a lot of people do that.

I know that when a CEO or other employee who holds a high position in a company says something that offends or even makes a large portion of the current and possible future clients feel unsafe, they are typically fired because it's bad PR and bad for business.

By the way, I didn't notice he said anything about epilepsy. Gotta read it again, I have to admit I didn't know that.
Still, I see almost all the drama because of his opinion on genders. And you're -kinda- right. And sadly, too. Because you have a favourite game, movie, TV show, book, etc. And you don't even know how the person who made it was.
For example, Arthur Connan Doyle was a racist. And as you can see, there are LOTS of Sherlock Holmes fans from all races. Like me, and I don't really care how racist he was, because the books are great. I love them.
There are a lot of people who like this site, who really enjoy his work... and suddenly they know (ah, and they know it because they searched to know) his opinion on a certain subject.
A lot of "important" people say horrible stuff on public media, and they have to be fired or pay for their mistakes. This wasn't the point, since it was on a Facebook PERSONAL profile.
What I've learned is, if you don't want to get hurt/offended, when you look at something that may do it, just go away. And these people didn't. They kept looking and reading. And it honestly sucks.

I was concerned about the situation, both not wanting to see trans* and genderqueer FR members feeling threatened and excluded by the views of an admin and not wanting to see someone who's put so much work into FR forced to leave for personal views expressed on a separate website. However, you exceeded my cynical expectations and have handled this in an impressively optimal manner. Bravo.
