Okay thankfully, I can confirm that it significantly varies by monitor. On mine it is extremely pearlescent and it looks like bubble-blowing liquid/soap
I highly recommend opening your GPU's command centre or video settings and adjusting your monitor! Not for this, but just in general. Monitor calibration does wonders.
