I have to admit, the original blending of the gene into the body was off-putting. I really wanted to love this gene, but the harsh blend and minimal coverage on noc tails kept me from wanting to get it.
After the edit though, I can definitely say that I love it as much as I first wanted to! And I now have a couple pairs of glo-wyrms to make the nights a little brighter. Thank you! [emoji=nocturne laughing size=1]

Though this Gene looks so much better, I do honestly believe the Art staff NEED a break. Pumping out new stuff will end up both burning out the staff, as well as make new stuff more and more boring as time goes on, and thus burning out the players as well.
Constant rewarding of new Genes or stuff like that will end in no one being excited or interested, and that will be such a shame. I think you guys are doing an amazing job to listen to what people have been saying, especially when it comes to criticism, but i'm seeing a few people (myself included) almost begging to give the Art staff a break. Making silly mistakes like the original Glowtail's design shows that there is less of a focus on detail and more of a focus to pump, pump, pump more Genes and more more more art.
People who are actually invested in the game will wait for better quality Genes. I've seen people complaining more and more with each Gene being released, and that's really sad in my opinion.
I just want to clarify, the Genes and Artists are not the problem, its the constant production of the New stuff that is. Too much of a good thing and all that stuff.
An idea I could suggest for this is maybe a poll, so say there's like 8 options for a specific gene design, with people allowed to pick maybe their top 3, and give people the freedom to write their opinion about the options chosen. That way then you can get a better reception before its even been released, and hopefully keep the majority of people happy. Even maybe a poll just to ask how long do people want to wait for say a new Gene, or a new Outfit or something like that, just so the Artists have a better time range or know how long they can work on a gene.
The other idea I had was even a "Draw your own Gene" Competition. Maybe giving people a specific keyword like "Mysterious" or give them the name of the gene like "Shattered" and then People can draw a simple draft of their own Genes. Maybe then the Art team can pick which one they like and do it in their own style. That way then the Community will feel more connected, and it kinda gives a break for the Art team as the community would be thinking and designing a draft rather than the Artists working on it.
I could be entirely wrong, and I'm not sure if these have been mentioned before ^ But I at least hope they may help. At the end of the day, I want the best for the Game. I just worry that the team is focused more on quantity then quality, and I know that doesn't end well, there's gotta be a happy medium <3

Just please, don't listen anymore and don't change/add anything to it. It's GLOWTAIL. I have a shiny tail on my dragons. I am happy. I was already worried that it will be changed too much. It turned out great. I am happy.

Personally I don't see much of a difference except a tiny bit more fade? It looks fine to me before, I don't quite understand the horrid backlash.
