The name come after a feather pattern in some birds, like the silver laced wyandotte chicken
Im not a big fan of this update.
I think Im the only one that dont like how the spiral emoji looks.
Also as have been said again and again the name of laced should be changed to avoid problems. Perphaps to scalloping of something like that. Also while the gene is not that bad. Some breed to follow the line of the dragons. Still I may use if eventually

I think they should change the Tert.. Maybe to Trims (like in sewing) since it kinda looks like it (funy enough the litteral Translaion is Edging...WICH IS USED BY THE Sec Gene AHHHH Dx) oxo

I love how the abstract style leaves the strokes up to interpretation, depending on how I characterize the dragon. It'll be cool to settle on a different version in each dragon's lore and bio fanart, from bird feathers to fish scales and more. So versatile!
On Gembond doubles, it reminds me of a headcanon where Gembond spreads over time, slowly turning to Crystal.
