It's hard for Pure's friendly disposition and cheerfulness to not put a grin on anyone's face. Even that fluffy grump, Absolute Zero, has been caught with the slightest of smiles. Pure's stay was initially meant to be temporary; the shy dragon was found limping near a shoreline, and claimed that her clan was a long distance away. Her story seemed a little shaky, but they allowed her to stay until she had healed. It certainly did not take long for Pure to become friends with practically the entire clan. However, this planned temporary stay soon became a permanent one after a private, teary plea to Chiyo one night.

"I lied. I'm sorry, but I lied. This was my own clan's doing, I cannot go back again."
- A paraphrased version, Chiyo was surprised to hear so many words come out of the normally shy dragon's panicked lips.

Most notably, she had somehow managed to become close friends with the quiet and ever-feared Pearlcatcher. After many days of awkward small talk, it had become clear that they shared a lot of interests. One could say that they perhaps got a little too close. They were basically the perfect match for each other! What's interesting to note that whenever Scourge is around Pure, her swings seem to never occur. Or, at least, it hasn't happened yet. It's commonly joked that they should be superglued together.
