@QuaeUnther
I have no data on the price since I just melt them like you do, but I do have drop data! 15.2% of all my chests last NotN had bears in them. 34 out of 223 chests. Since the bears made up 32.8% of the possible drops that year (22 out of 67) I don't think that's too unbearable. xD
Still, I totally voted to punt them over to Joxar. So tired of those bears. Plus we really need to declutter the strange chests! Assuming there will be new familiars and/or apparel this year, we'd be looking at like 100 possible drops. Really I think the sorcerer's apparel and bitey chests could go the same way (Jox Box or retirement) but I guess that's not happening.

All of this concern about familiars. Even though I am worried about Joxar's being watered down I feel this is a good idea for the site. But I do wish we had another way to address the issue with extremely plentiful new familiars and essentially impossible to get retired familiars.
Can we please have some drafts for a familiar breeding ground add on for the nesting grounds. It would cost a decent amount of treasure to unlock. A new site mechanic that heavily favors older players with the money resources and time invested in the game, but also allow some of these retired familiars to propagate at a slow rate. I am ok with a very slow rate.
*You need two of each familiar you want to breed. No mixing and matching
* They must be loyal
* only one offspring
* Long gestation. I would be ok with months of daily incubating.
This would put a lot of profit into the hands of those already owning the rare familiars. It would not flood the market. And it would make it difficult, not impossible to get these older rare familiars.

I think it’s high time the bears head in for hibernation already.

Personally, I'd love to see the real bears in Joxar chests and the mock bears featured in NotN.

I think the bears need to go, or just drop in drop rate that they're pretty much extremely rare to get. The demand just isn't there, and you can only attach them once so it's not like apparel. Even if there is demand, there's no use for them.

Of the poll options, definitely dump 'em in the chests as skin-like bonus items. That will increase the amount of worthwhile stuff we get in NotN without diluting the pool of items in the Joxar chests people want.
