I think i've gotten less than 10 chests via digging/scavenging since the event began. My luck there ain't great, luckily I have the Coliseum to fall back on.
The Arena has been the best spot for my level 25 team to find chests, followed by the Waterway. Golum Workshop and Kelp Beds seem to have the 100% drop rate but of course it's harder to stay alive in those places.
I haven't found anything of value *in* the chests yet, but I had a veritable herd of sprangyroos at one point XD
My 2 nocturnes were purchased and gifted, respectively. I'd still like to be able to find one on my own, but I can't complain about not having one.

Is there something going on with the scavenging/digging in terms of the chests? Cause the first few days of the event, I've been getting more than 10 chests per day, and now my chances of getting them seems to be rather slim.. Even today, I got no chests whatsoever, and stayed in the same area for all turns of gathering. Is there something going on, or is it just terrible luck?

Lots of people have that problem. i think they made the drop rate lower.

Meh, glad I looked at this thread. Thought maybe it ended. Dumb that the drop rate is lower. All I've been getting is food and trinkets in the boxes I was getting, didn't get any boxes today, at all. Boyfriend has been getting Familiers. :/ Just want more boxes back.

Would you like to borrow an level 8 dragon to help your dragons train until they gain a few more levels? If you take them to them Scorched Forest you should be able to survive a few rounds at an time.

ahh thanks for the offer! but i might do it myself (i get attatched to cute dragon baes). coli isnt my main thing at all, its getting dragons i find visually appealling.
I mean... anyways. whats the point in making the chests rare is most only cointain a single food item? Its the only reason i wanted to grind the coli but whats the point? I think ill do it casually...
