On that note, while the midweek break is about to end, this is a reminder that I am taking until Tuesday off as an extended break. The existing queue will be finished in this time, and next week's midweek break will be skipped. You can still order before then, but I will not be confirming anything and will likely be fairly inactive.

The break is being extended due to extenuating circumstances.

I will still try to get the queue cleared but I am not in a state where I should be taking more orders.

This isn't anything to do with the workload, but rather that I am having a serious health issue that may result in a hospital visit if it gets any worse. Orders will reopen when I've recovered either way.

I ended up having a few, more minor recurring health issues early this year (the most recent I am STILL recovering from as I write this...) but mostly I just got super busy with other art projects, both personal and commissions or freelance work for Protochroma. Voidlings take a fair amount of my time and energy to keep up with the queue-- no complaints, honestly, love y'all-- and I wanted to be able to focus on those other art commitments without having to think about how I'm going to make the latest Blue Iridescent Neon Striped Voidling unique, lol No changes to how this thread is run for the moment, but here's some behind-the-scenes highlights: [list] [*]I [i]wanted[/i] to write lore... but I didn't have the mental energy or time to do that since I set my hopeful opening date. That's coming soon, promise. [*]I FINALLY updated my BBCode generator spreadsheet! This barely means anything for you guys, but for me it means I can handle Chimeric voidlings much more easily because this version actually accounts for chimeric traits, and it means I can collapse a lot of the sheet which actually handles all the stringing together of text so I don't have to scroll up and down all the time. [*]I'm going to be working on figuring out how to standardize Total Rarity so I don't have to keep eyeballing it. This is a kind of complicated thing to work on, so it won't happen for a while. When it does, the rarity of your Voidlings may change-- if you're keeping track in a dragon bio instead of a tracker spreadsheet, I suggest switching to the sheet because a lot of info is auto-filled. You can find a link on the first page! [*]I'm going to be working on some of those little "coming soon" teasers in the first page. Yes, this means Artifact Imbuing and buying Custom Voidlings.
