Amberly is an adult Obelisk who is... something? I need to give a brief summary of her character as a whole. Appearance Amberly is an adult Obelisk who is bigger than most of her breed. Her main body has the dotting and coloring of a jaguar. Her wings are a gradient from a light honeydew green, to orca white, to a dark gray. She is constantly surrounded by honeydew colored fireflies that have a habit of hiding within her apparel. Her eyes are the common nature green, though there have been accounts where she has lighter green, more wind colored eyes. She dons the Boneyard Bard apparel. This consists of a cloak wrapped with beaded strings and a small skull is worn around the neck, a harp made of bones is strapped to the waist with small green jars dangling from the ropes, and a Robin Hood-like hat with a feather sticking out from the brim (desc). She is also often seen with Airborne Parchment, carrying around a bamboo paintbrush in the mouth that paints a long, magical stroke onto a floating scroll with bamboo stalks and leaves sprouting from the brushstroke (desc). Personality Amberly has a somewhat unruly, carefree, and playful attitude as well as a liking to rhyming in her speech. She is also bold, not fearing to insult or ignore those who are supposedly powerful. She also enjoys roaming around the lands, playing songs to those who would listen and leaving spontaneous paintings in her wake. There will be times where she is more analytic and inquisitive. Not nearly as outspoken per usual, but still understanding nonetheless. |

History Something about her history and lore. Maybe she was reincarnated?? Maybe she's a goofy goober??? I'm not sure, I def want to mull over it. Onto the scrying process- Something about the Primary: Jaguar gene that really stood out to me, it felt like it embraced that big-cat vibe that Obelisks were giving off. I was randomizing the secondary gene to see what would stick and stumbled upon Blend. The little bit of light green from Blend matched pretty well with the Tertiary Honeydew color- Plus I am a big sucker for green. With those two genes sorted out, I wanted to find a fitting tertiary gene that didn't overtake the other two genes. Glimmer took away from the jaguar feel, runes felt too cluttered, ect ect. Until firefly, it matched the vibes very well and didn't get in the way of the other genes. I gradually gathered all the needed genes myself, it's took some time and funds but it was done!! Honestly a good part of why I'm so fond of her.

Then there's one more thing, funny little thing. I was looking at her genetics one day and her main color is Amber. The last thing of that little block is the Firefly gene. Amber-ly. It all comes full circle!!
