Essentially, [b]from now until rollover into October 1, 2022[/b], I will be holding a raffle to get special Voidlings. [b]Not every Voidling shown above will be a prize![/b] Two of them I made for myself, and a few were made for friends. [b][size=5]Raffle Rules[/size][/b] [list] [*]Ticket to entry costs [b]100G/kT[/b]. Mixed payment is fine. [*][b]One player can buy one entry.[/b] Personally, I hate when raffles let you buy however many tickets you want, since it just means that the richest people get all the good stuff. Nah, fam. [*]You can buy your ticket at any time. This includes alongside your order, independent of any order, on days where I'm closed, etc. As long as you buy [b]before the raffle entry closes[/b] you can secure your spot. [*]Please allow me 48 hours after the raffle closes to actually roll the winners, especially if the prize pool had to be expanded! [/list] [b][size=5]Prize Distribution[/size][/b] [list] [*][b]Every entrant will win at least something.[/b] The prize pool will expand with more players joining. If there's leftovers, they'll go into the general adoption pool. [*]The top three winners will be allowed to select one Top Prize [color=lime][i]and[/i][/color] one General Prize in order of when they were drawn. [*]The next three (up to six, as the raffle expands) will be allowed to select one Top Prize [color=red][i]or[/i][/color] General Prize, their choice. [*]Every entrant after that will be given a random Voidling from the General Prize Pool. [*]In addition, three completely random people who enter will get Something Else with their prize. They might be winners of the main raffle, or they might not. This is experimental for me introducing Custom Voidlings in general, and for now comes with its own few rules: [list] [*]Custom Voidlings will be marked with a special symbol (like the one on Unstable Voidlings) and [b]cannot breed[/b]. [*]All Custom Voidlings are Gen 1. [*]Unrevealed Prismatic Traits and Accessories cannot be purposefully selected. [*]You can request any Trait or specific pattern otherwise. [*]If a new "Trait" has to be created I [b]will not[/b] add it to the list of available traits. [Disclaimer: I do not promise I won't accidentally create a very similar one later, especially if I was already planning it.] [*]I will not draw any new Accessories for this. [*]A flatcolored version of the Voidling will be sent for confirmation before it's shaded, numbered, and finalized. [center][size=6][b]Deimos's Notes[/b][/size] [b][size=5]Struggle[/size][/b] Oh, what a glorious struggle. The creature certainly knew how to fight, and for a time it warded me off with strange, transparent claws that suddenly sprouted from just behind its shoulders. The impressive range on them will be worth study, but it looked to be about triple my body length! They phased through obstacles, moved so fast they were nearly invisible, and cut with an edge finer than any blade that I've seen. I know now that the creature I captured is as much a predator as any dragon. [img]https://i.imgur.com/ZjmSUWD.jpeg[/img] At one point it actually managed to drive me back. With the lull in the battle and me still trying to gain my feet, I expected it to attack more fiercely, but it did not press its advantage. No, to my surprise, the creature turned and opted to try to escape back into its strange portal! Fortunately, its lapse of attention on my position gave me the opening I needed to jump on its back- it really wasn't that much larger than myself, simply longer- and cast a spell to subdue it. After it collapsed, I trapped it in a magical bubble barrier. I was perfectly content to watch it sleep for a few minutes, but I knew I needed to work quickly if I wanted to keep my prize. After all, even if it couldn't strike at me from behind the barrier, I wouldn't want it escaping into its portal while my back is turned because it woke up and managed to not alert me. Perhaps a spell to-- eh? A noise in the back of my lab. I'm loathe to leave my prize behind, but it should be unconscious for yet longer. Time to investigate... [/center]
