[size=5][b]Physical Attributes[/b][/size] Stargliders rival Faes as the smallest of dragon species, hardly reaching over a meter in length. But that might be the only similarity they share with their crested cousins, their most prominent trait is their round belly and tail which often remind other dragons of moths, large reserves of magic located in said areas help these dragons float and bounce through the hovering pieces of land, crystal and ride the meteors that often rain upon it. A shiny silky mane is a trophy of their vanity, its wonderful condition considered a sign of respect and status as these individuals are deemed more attractive and the best choice for a mate. [size=5][b]Social[/b][/size] A musical bunch, you can find these critters chattering in a compilation of chirps, tweets and clicks, other dragons wonder if they’re having actual conversations since such interactions have been known to proceed for hours on end. While it isn’t hard for them to learn traditional draconic, many dragons may find their way of speaking either extremely annoying or amusing: parroting new words several times, alternating between words and chirps or clicks and even the strange high pitch voice they seem to have. [indent][b]Lovebugs & Companions[/b] It has become common knowledge how affectionate these little dragons are, their nests crowded with small dragons closely piled together, snuggled up in one single sleeping spot. Stargliders tend to be very cuddly and loving towards each other and mainly their offspring, both parents often curling around their babies so they aren’t squished by the dozen other individuals nestling together. because of that tendency, when found in another clan, Stargliders will often have one particular dragon who they’re especially fond of, acting in a similar manner as a loyal familiar, always close and around them. Some consider them a pocket best-friend as they’re easy to talk to and are greatly supportive.[/indent] [size=5][b]Lairs[/b][/size] Stargliders share one communal lair, usually a hole already carved out on rock or tree trunk just barely big enough to fit the entire clan. They vastly prefer a concave surface area for sleeping so their snuggle piles naturally accumulates in the middle. These are often filled with vegetal bedding for a cozier and more comfortable place. In Mixed-species clans, Stargliders will have a vast number of perching spots across the lair-- either natural holes or self made platforms using crystals and tree resin as glue-- to simulate their land hopping habits. Since their magic reserves are always growing, they must use it constantly to avoid ruptures on their stomach and tail. When it’s time to sleep, Stargliders will group up in a single spot to snuggle pile, or if alone, they’ll sleep with their companion dragon, accommodating themselves in elbows, under heads or wherever else it’s tight enough for them to feel comfortable. [size=5][b]Tactics[/b][/size] Stargliders are hardly fighters, but they’re feisty defenders. you’ll never see them engaging confrontations, but a foe threatening these little creatures may find their faces full of rapid clawing and nasty little bites. When using magic attacks they work like a bomb setting off, using all their reserves at once in a powerful explosion of magic, it is used in situations of extreme distress, which is why it is not recommended to provoke these dragons past their breaking point, especially if their reserves are full. If you want a Starglider based off one of your dragons, you want a breed change.
