Saint | Light Carrier | Phantom _______________________________________________ [Mesopotamian mythology. Variously interpreted as "lord of the reed marsh" or "Enki has created". A legendary hero originally appearing in Sumerian literary compositions, which were incorporated in the Akkadian epic of Gilgamesh. After Gilgamesh defeats him, the two become friends and Enkidu aids Gilgamesh in killing the divine bull sent by the goddess Ishtar to destroy them. The gods then kill Enkidu in revenge, prompting Gilgamesh to search for immortality.] Symbol of a mighty hero who died early. Enkidu has once been a primitive and wild dragon, without any aim and purpose. After being defeated by Gilgamesh, one of the clan's kings who catched sight of the immense potential slumbering within Enkidu, he became his servant, protector and friend. He developed into a civilized, highly talented dragon, extremely skilled in dagger fights. After he was killed by one of Gilgamesh's enemies, the Aether resurrected him - however, he has lost all his vital energy since then and turned into some kind of statue, exalted and venerated, with only his mind being present. |
