Ever since he was a hatchling, Tomix wanted to learn the peculiar art of soulweaving: working with the spirits of dragons long past to craft spells and enchantments of varying elements. His whole family were soulweavers after all, so it was only natural that he should learn too.

Shortly after Tomix aged out of his hatchling years however, he accidentally released several wicked spirits on a dare from another student, and was promptly expelled from his lessons until he could round up the spirits he'd released and seal or destroy them.

Things kind of went downhill for Tomix after that.

Since that day he's been wandering Sornieth with only his companion spirit Aspar for company, tracking down leads on the spirits he'd released and expanding his knowledge on his craft wherever he can. Though not exactly cleared for tutoring in the subject, if one asks about his work, Tomix would be more than happy to share what he knows—as a certain wandering duchess found out some time after meeting a spirit of her own.
